  1. Thursday update! Some small guys.

The rainbow crow is from a legend about an animal that tried to bring light to the world. He carried the light in his beak, and by the time he returned, his rainbow feathers were all seared black.

  2. @Thalzon, I am a huge fan of your work. Your contributions are just incredible!

BTW, I love how accurate your bible inspired angels are. Realllly cool.
  3. Excellent work. I was so happy to find these. Sent you a PM about wanting to use some of them in a commercial game, as you suggested.
  4. Thursday update!

    aberration_06.png elephant_02.png giant_02.png snake_03.png snake_04.png

Airavata is the white elephant that is ridden by Indra. It's supposed to have around 7 heads, but, uh... that's a little hard to fit together.
The Rainbow Serpent is from Australian native lore, and a creator deity. Said to be associated with rain.
The pale guy and the blue snake are ripped from the D&D manual, and are the Empyrean and the Couatl, respectively. Couatls are based on winged snakes from South American native lore.

The eye is just an eye. Enjoy!
  5. Ahriman? Or maybe I've thought of Final Fantasy... Otherwise, more SMT demons.

One thing I'm curious about is that even though it'd probably be exclusive to your projects should you choose to make them is that I think you could do with a mascot creature one of these days.
  6. Great update! :) But the anatomy for the elephant seems off for some reason... Maybe the leg is too stiff?
  7. There is a fair bit off about a number of my battlers, it's true. After this set is complete, I intend to go back over a few of them and fix the more glaring mistakes.

Thursday update this week is hopefully free of poor perspective and legs of different widths/lengths (har!).

    Enjoy.
  8. you and your silly dung beetle variants, it's funny how many things you've converted it to that actually works.
Well done on the battlers, it's cool to see the difference in quality that just comes with more experience. I plan to use some
eventually when my game is near completion, I will contact you.
  9. Good work, will you ever do animated SV battlers?
  10. I come to you with a slight update and with some slightly-bad news.

I've decided to forego making shadows for the side view battlers. In future updates, battlers will not have shadows to ground them, and the battlers with shadows will no longer be available to download come the next update. I did not like their variance in depth, and on some enemies the shadows wound up looking pretty awful. Sorry, peeps.

To hopefully soothe that blow, I did fix a handful of battlers I felt needed fixing, and I think they look a lot better for it. Have a look below.

These will be available in their respective packs too from here on out, and more fixes are on the way.
  11. Just curious, when will shadowless versions of your already shared Celestial battlers be available?
  12. They already are. They're in B_NOSHADOW in the original post. When the set is complete they'll get their own rar file link.
  13. Ah, okay. Derp.
  14. Wow, incredible work, the elephant is fantastic!
  15. Great job as always! I love the idiosyncrasies of your art, it shouldn't be absolutely realistic imo. You are a much better artist than I could hope to be, and I love your style! Thanks for the awesome contributions. :D
  16. Thursday update. You'll see some changes to the first post too. You've always wanted to fight balloons, right?

    balloon_01.png balloon_02.png cow_01.png cow_02.png

These are a sacred cow, and Nandi, the mount of Shiva from Hindu lore.
  17. A sizable Thursday update this week draws us closer to the end of the Celestial Set.

From the top: Valkyrie, from Norse Myth, who guides the souls of esteemed warriors to the afterlife to prepare for the war at the end of the world.
    A holy Dullahan.
Phoenix, in two sizes, for those who want a tiny firebird, and those who want a more Final Fantasy-sized one.
Ganesha, god of wisdom, beginnings, science, and progress from the Hindu pantheon.
Vishnu, one of the three principal deities of Hinduism, alongside Brahman and Shiva. He is the preserver, and dreams the universe into reality.
Asura, a destructive, beastly creature with six arms and multiple heads.
Moon Rabbit, in two varieties. He uses his mortar and pestle to make Ambrosia.
    And a king slime.

    Enjoy!
  18. im planning on using these in my game its not the best of games but ill put you in the credits or somewhere in the game its amazing how you made these wish i could do that
  19. Nice to see the good work!

For the next little while, I'll be poring over my old battlers and updating ones that I like/that look good/that are facing to the right. For now, enjoy.
