    It doesn’t have to be 20 minutes, it can be shorter.

    I took the least from VX Ace, even though that was my first engine. All I took was the iconset (and even use a rescaled set I downloaded from Yanfly's site). From VN Maker I took all the graphics. The backgrounds alone were already worth buying VN maker for. I took all the music and many sound effects from MZ. Oh and I took battlebacks from MZ too.

    When I combine all those extra assets in MV, I have quite a scala of assets to work with.

    So, that is seriously not a bad idea in my opinion. As long as you use all the assets you want in one engine.

    As long as you are not hoping for that first prize to pay for those engines... That one is going to be mine. ;)

    Nah, I'm not a fan of the older engines RTP. Just not my style. And pride demands I never by MV.
