Hey there! I've been wondering if it'd be easy to add something to the plugin:

Sometimes, a character joins your party later on in the game, so maybe he's already lvl 10, for instance. In my case, there is a character that joins the party right before a boss fight, and I need him to have some skills already learnt by default, but I still want this character to have a skill tree. Would it be possible to develop a plugin command or script call to force an actor to "spend 1 skill point in X skill"?

    Thanks!
Currently it isn't possible by a single command. Will be in next update.
  2. Version 1.7:
    - Added script calls to learn skills in skill trees.
    - Added scale factor for skill icons.
    - Added stats requirement.
    - Changed sound for skills unable to learn.
  3. Love the idea so very much!
  4. Amazing!
    (Russian text about bis thanks)

Потрясающий плагин. Отличная идея, красивый дизайн. Очень хочу попробовать, но пока страшновато )
Скачала демо. И в стиме подписалась.
  5. This seems like a fantastic plugin but very complex to get into for non-programmers. A video tutorial, even if not voiced, would probably help dummies like me to get started.
  6. Hi! I recently found your plugin, and it look really interesting!
I just have a few questions:

    1- How do I make the Button for the Skill Tree to appear on the Menu? As I'm doing right now nothing seems to appear on it;
2- How do I use the class-related Skill Trees?

    Thanks in advance!

Wonderful work. Is it possible to replace the arrows with .png images?
  8. @coticka, you can edit IconSet.png to change arrow images.

Great plugin. Was wondering, did you ever add in the confirmation button for learning skills?
  10. Skill learn confirmation window would be perfect :) Currently, it's troublesome for android.
    Cool plugin nonetheless.

Btw, no way to change the skill tree in the middle of the game? Do you need to start over every time to see changes in the skill tree?

If something works not as expected

I have to say, I love the plugin, but this one line made me laugh unexpectedly. It's just the phrasing - like sometimes it'll work, it'll just do something you weren't expecting.

Idk it sounds less funny now that I say it but it gave me a good chuckle. Thx
  12. I really love this amazing plugin. Thanks for your unremitting dedication.

I found a bug in this plugin today, and I think it should be reported to you :

If an actor use a reset-item<resetSkillTrees:all> without learning any skill, he/she will get an additional skill point. If I do this over and over again, unlimited skill points will be received.
  13. Is it possible to remove the forth tree and the big tree from actor 1?
  14. @chinx, thank you. Bugfix will be in next update.

@lyonft, currently, you can use such code:
    JavaScript:
    SkillTreesSystem.hideTrees($gameActors.actor(1), 0, 'f_tree');
Function `hideTrees` takes 3 arguments: actor, classId and tree symbol. Use 0 for trees without class.

Hi SomeFire! Was wondering how easy it would be to add a confirmation button to skilltree decisions? My coding skills are pretty nonexistant so I'm not sure where to start.
  16. It is a complex task if you don't know how to handle with windows in RPG MV.
  17. @SomeFire can you add feature to hide unlearnable skill slots and only show them once their requirements are met? Or display them with a black box and ??? instead
  18. @ravenhood, why you want to hide skills? As for me it is bad for player, because he can't plan what to buy, craft, etc for character. Even what this character can do in late game.
  19. @SomeFire I think it's nice to have some hidden skills, it will be a surprise for players. It's similar to hidden jobs of final fantasy :D
  20. Ok, I created task to hide skills. May be it will be presented in next update.
