There is NEVER only X save slots in rpg maker EVER
Yes Final Fantasy pre-playstation did that to me, but with the expansion of memory cards and PC gaming I need to let go of that sorta thinking. I'll expand the number of save slots though, I do not mind.
Heya man. Started playing your game (been meaning to try it out for a while now) and have some feedback to give. First of, the version I got is the one in the title post (not sure though if that's the most recent one).
So far the game seems pretty fun and the dialogue is very witty. The characters seem to be colourful, which is a good thing. My favourite line so far is when Emmet says 'You are so useless, Guard #1'. It was a nice way to break the 4th wall. I am also really liking the mapping, especially in the town and inside both church areas. The sunlight coming through the church panes looks very beautiful. The music choices are also great. I think each tune fits in with the area it's in very well.
It was a nice touch to have arrows pointing at important items and doorways.
A few minor suggestions:
How come there are only 3 save slots?

When you show the picture just when Ivan's store gets set on fire, I think it would look nicer if the action icon for the invisible text box was displayed at the bottom rather than at the top over the picture.
I was a bit perplexed as to some of the attire costs. Silk Robe seemed to give better bonuses than the Formal Cleric Gear but costs the same (250 gold). The next one up, Runic Robe I think, only added 1pt more to defences but cost a whooping 700 gold. But then later I realised that Silk Robe can't be equipped to either Emmet or Willard. Are all those equippable on different characters?
This one is very minor, but the cabinet next to Willard's double bed looks a bit strange, because the parts on the left have a graphic indicating that it's coming out a bit, but a part on the right doesn't, and yet they're the same in regard to vertical plane (sorry, I can't really explain this better).
There were also a few spelling errors that I came across. Apologies in advance if anyone else already pointed these out (I certainly can't see them getting past Alkorri) :p but probably best if I mentioned them anyway.
- The word 'their' is misspelled in the intro and also in the dialogue when Emmet and Willard enter the sewer just before the lighthouse.
- 'Can you tell me why your (should be "you're") making me do this?' when Emmet is talking to Nidale about his quest
- The word 'accommodate' was misspelled in the dialogue if you were to visit Nidale in her room upstairs.
- The word 'imaginative' is misspelled when talking to the Gold guy in the tavern.
- The word 'revisit' was misspelled when talking to Willard (I think it was when you first talk to him in the tavern)
- 'Looks like your (should be "you're") ready to lead' - Willard says to Emmet when you unlock the lighthouse from the inside.

Hope this feedback helps. I'm currently in the lighthouse. Going to continue soon. The game is good so far. I've only fought one battle, so can't comment on the battle system much yet, but I like the look of some of these battle animations. I think you did a good job with some of the custom art and edits.
Thank you. Mundy and I worked pretty long hours on those, and it's good to hear it was well received.
It does very much, thank you. I am just about to go back over the corrections to dialogue thanks to you and Aklori. I really appreciate you noting the corrections as it helps me improve things.
Yes I wish I had time to update with some more changes, but unfortunately with my loss of job and father passing in the recent months I've been distracted. I can share some new changes as soon as I get things in working order again.
That's odd, I'll take another look at the robe family. They are meant for Shade who will join you shortly on your way up the lighthouse.
Hmm, I will take a look at Willard's double bed. That does sound odd.
Understood and will do with the picture. That does sound like a better idea.
It seems everyone loves Guard #1 so much he made his way into the ending.
With Yanfly's shop it should grey out the names, but still show the increases for each character's equipment that cannot equip it. I'll take another look.
ake another look, as I marked those robes specifically with a <Mage> class tag.
Willard use to be able to equip them before Clerical Vestments were designed though.
I'm glad you enjoyed the characters. Dialogue is a big joy in the project, as is story and character development for me.
Oh thank you, despite being completely tone deaf I seem to have good judgement for music. It helps when writing to have the appropriate atmosphere, and that is generally what I am looking for when I hunt down music.
I am so happy you liked the church windows! I put a lot of effort into them.
I've played your game and loves it very much so far I will judge on everything when I can, good luck on complete version! Resources are quite neat as well as beautiful! Do you mind me asking which quest display system you are using?
Mc Dohl's Journal, which is in my credits area on the Original Post. It's a very no frill, no pictures, simple text interface just designed to remind the player of where they were and what they were doing.
I rarely used it outside of explaining the pantheon and avoiding direct info dumps onto the player when a book is discovered.
