@MikePjr Maybe it would help you to pay via Paypal. Usually when my card payment to other countries outside the EU or the US does not work, it works with Paypal.

@Touchfuzzy I promise all of you.. it's not your system.. it's my bank.. i found out the idiots thought it was fraud and blocked it... over and over.. and never bothered to freaking call me to verify it was me.. being lazy asses.
It went through fine with PayPal.. so it's all good.
I'm pissed at my bank right now for being s.. they do this idiotic bullsh*t all the time.. it just didn't dawn on me at first that it'd be them being stupid.. and it was.

@MikePjr My bank does it too. Yeah, it's annoying, but I'd rather tham block transactions and err on the side of caution, than risk being robbed because they've ignored all transactions. My bank will only block a transaction if it's a large amount of money, if it's in a location I don't typically withdraw money from or go to (pretty much anywhere outside of my city lol), or if it's to some place abroad. They're pretty good at recognising my spending habits now, and I'm grateful for their vigilance. I do tend to get texts alerting me to blocked transactions, though.

Maybe your bank is just more cautious than mine.

For all the Steam user Steam updates and releases stuff on the store 11am Pacific. They go off the the timezone of where they're base, Seattle and very rarely do midnight or timezone specific releases. If I'm remembering correctly you can switch your account to a different country and get it early like that but I haven't done that in years so I don't know if that still works.

Sorry to say this, but your bank won't do much even if you complain. The bank will blame the store for not following their rules for detecting a fraudulent transaction. The store will blame the bank for not taking in consideration that they don't necessarily control what is sent in the trace to the bank or the carrier. And the Carrier will say..."Huh? You made a transaction that wasn't approved by your bank? Sorry but we only transfer data, the problem is either in your bank or the store, have a nice day" (That last is basically what a Carrier told me in a phone call).
I had a similar issue with the pre order for FFXV, the preorder was ok, but when they were making the charge for shipping, the bank for my credit card always blocked them because for them Square Enix store is issuing a fraudulent transaction. Casually at the time, I was working for the same bank, and the guy who manages those alarms actually showed me that there are parameters that each bank sets at the credit card issuer brand (Visa in this case) and that the carriers (companies that handle transactions between banks and stores) will send in the information trace so the bank can determine if it is a legal transaction or not. I complained and they said "Yeah, well, you and like 1000 others, but we won't change it because if we do, we will then have more fraudulent transactions and our fraud insurance prime will skyrocket".

So, whenever possible for online purchases, use Paypal, since it bypases those parameters set by the bank (as well as others regarding currency exchange) for Credit Card and Debit Card.

I'm mostly pissed because they never bothered to call me like they usually do.. they sent an email and expected me to call.. i usually get an auto thing asking me if it was me, or a text.
They sent neither.. that's why i was so pissed..
Anyhow.. sorry for derailing things as much as i did.. i'm done..

If it's the parameter that I suspect, then most likely they won't sent a text message or anything for confirmation. Usually that parameter is not seen by the bank's system, only for VISA or MasterCard systems, and usually those are not integrated into the bank's system.

That's the thing.. they ALWAYS call OR text.
That's the way they do things.. doesn't matter where the order is going.
But if you wanna disguss things more, PM me.. I really don't wanna clog up this thread with stuff about my idiot bank lol >_<

@Touchfuzzy Been busy so just checking in now but did the discount for the further 10% off get put on the rpg maker store? And if so are the bundles also available on the store here instead of steam?

I got some kinda discount for already owning MV..

@MikePjr : I have the same issue on Steam actually, I now have to pay through paypal to avoid my bank having a hissy fit.

The heck of it is.. and i didn't wanna keep going on about this.. but the heck of it is, no one else has access to my card.. and i keep a firm grip on it.. as well as the information.
I'm not worried about anyone getting it..
If the card ever got stolen or went missing, it wouldn't work for very long, i'd be on the horn with my bank letting them know.

I find that funny. My bank suddenly blocks my card for almost any foreign store, but has no issues with the RM Store.

@Seacliff Maybe someone at your bank is a fan of RPG Maker and uses it to make games in their spare time. :p

It is too late for this version (obviously) but one thing I think RPG Maker needs is the ability to have more than 8 enemies at once (not counting plugins). Also, having 'random enemy parties' from earlier Makers would be nice. Still can't wait for release. Less than 24 hours. YAHOO.

You get the 10% preorder discount straight away, then when you go through to the checkout page (if you are logged into your account), it adds the extra 10% for owning MV. By the time it asks you to confirm your purchase, the full 20% discount should have been applied.

This will only happen if you bought MV on the RPGMakerWeb store. The store won't detect if you bought it on Steam originally.
