I actually got mine almost immediately. The RPG Maker purchase came with a Steam Key in the purchase itself. I also got another one when I redeemed the Steam version of RPG Maker MZ.

I noticed when I redeemed my my MZ Key on steam I got a tradeable item for MV although I already have a key for it that came with prepurchasing it on rpgmakerweb. Is this intentional?

Will MZ unlock at the same time worldwide or will it depend on the time zone?

Is it too optimistic to think that I’d be able to access it at 00:01 on the 21st in my time zone? :kaophew:

steam tells you exactly how long until it unlocks. at this moment that is one day and two hours for me, or 19:00 on 20.08.2020 in Germany

Should be 10am Pacific. I don't know if it is counting down correctly. Or at least, that is what I was told.

I think it's intentional.

If you try to redeem the MV key afterwards, Steam will tell you that you already own the product associated to the key. So you can't get 2 free copies that way.

This is nonsense. Then it turns out on Steam 00.00 is still an old day. Just 10am Pacific Time. It's 22.00 Moscow time. In Moscow the time is + 3. And my time is +5. Ie at 00.00

UK is 8 hours ahead of PT, so it'll be unlocked for me at around 6pm. It was the same with a bunch of games on Steam. It's just the way things are. Being from the future sucks. :p

I wonder if the RMW store version will be released at the same time as the Steam version?

For me, it says either it "unlocks on Aug 20, 2020", or "approximately 1 day", no exact ETA.
But given that info, it may be around 2:00 PM my time.

Well.. i can't seem to pre order from the site.. it says there's an issue..
Do you guys accept debit cards? Or only ACTUAL Credit cards?
My card is linked to my bank and draws directly from my account

I've checked the details over and over.. everything is correct.

-EDIT-
I ended up using Paypal.. which is kinda sad because it draws directly from my bank as well.. should have just been able to use my card but i couldn't..

Okay.. so.. my IDIOT BANK is to blame.
They thought it was ing FRAUD!
It wasn't ing fraud and i'm gonna chew their asses out.
They do this EVERY ING TIME I ORDER ANYTHING ONLINE!!!!

I used my debit card. I know some people have had issues in the past with the bank itself blocking it because of it being from a foreign site. Or something along those lines. You may call your bank and ask.

@MikePjr This has been a problem with our store for a while now, some banks really dislike our system because we are based in Japan. Something new is getting unveiled tomorrow that should fix that though :)
