    @hiddenone creates Orcs and Goblins with sideview battlers!
    Maybe it's time to make a game that have monsters and heroes working together?

    And to complete the set, @Avery provides us with angels of different variety!
    Including an MZ compatible faceset to boot.

  2. These all turned out great. I always love seeing what other people come up with. @Candacis More demons are always welcome, @hiddenone I dig that the lady orcs are as snarly as their menfolk, @Avery and I am impressed at how soft those angels look. ^_^
  3. I would once again like to thank @hiddenone, @Candacis and @Avery from the bottom of my heart for these lovely resources. Though, I personally had only visited and seen @hiddenone and @Avery 's works either around here or on the discord servers. But nonetheless, they're all great (including @Candacis of course!). I've always deeply appreciate the time they put into releasing these resources generously for free here even though all of them have busy lives and all. I am truly grateful for that. With that said and done. I once again would like to say thanks a million+ for all the hard work you put into these lovely resources @hiddenone, @Candacis and @Avery ! <3
  4. You guys rocked it as per usual! It's great to see! Love the angel's wings - they're so fluffy! And the noses on the goblins are ajsldjiwajeihjralsdj so freaking cute/weird XD

    I do love the waterfall tiles tho. So nice.

    But the real thing I love most? @Candacis you made proper long grass? PROPER LONG GRASS?! You have my love forever (sorry @Caz but proper long grass!!! I'm sure you understand, love ;.; )
  5. @Ksi
    Thanks! The long grass is basically a mixture of the MZ and MV long grass. I just took the best from both of them :LZSgrin:
    I'm glad you like it.
  6. @Avery and @Candacis and @hiddenone Before making any individual comments, I want to thank you for showing the community what can be done with the assets they already have. This will, I'm sure, help give confidence to those who haven't tried to do their own edits to have a shot at it. Thank you all for your time, energy, skill and enthusiasm.

    @Avery As Ksi said, those wings are lovely. tbh, I think these are the best wings I've seen, as often they just look like transplanted birds' wings. These really look like something different. You've also managed to make faces that I think I could use.

    @Candacis What can I say? MZVind is a stroke of genius, giving us totally usable autotiles without having to spend (in my case) countless hours making them look less blocky. And I love the 'Dig site' tiles. It may seem like a small thing, but having scattered small stones is such a help - the default 4 or 5 little ones meant that I've always had to spend time making variations. Now you've done it for me. And thanks for the sample map which makes it clear how versatile the resources are.

    @hiddenone The noses! Need I say more? Female and kids orcs as well. So useful.

    Once more, thanks to everyone for these.
  7. The resources look amazing! Loving the bold bright colors.

    @Candacis -The tilesets looks very nice! Loving the bold colors, rounded cliffs at the base and the organic edges on the river! And the shine on the waterfall looks amazing! Not to forget the demons, they look great too! Loving the horns! I can never complain about more monster sprites to use in game.

    @hiddenone - Amazing work as always on the sprites and SV battlers. Between the orc teeth, and the goblin nose and those slanted ears, simply amazing work! It is always wonderful to have a variety of monster sprites and SV battlers for use.

    @Avery- The angel wings look so big and fluffy! I wish they were plushies so I could just squeeze those angels!
  8. Good to see Restaff back.
    Sadly I lack time and couldn't use everything for the small map I made (which I also terribly rushed), but I really enjoyed using the resources.
    Thanks a lot to everyone who contributed!

    @Avery:
    Great job on the sprites and the faces.
    It's very useful that you added different skin tones and human versions too.
    Amazing job, love the attention to detail and the halo.

    @Candacis:
    So many wonderful tiles, I enjoyed using them.
    Thanks for adding these modular cliffs too, they can be easily modified with the squared RTP cliffs to make some decent rounded RTP cliffs of several types!
    The waterfalls are great and totally put the default RTP ones to shame, the demons are very nice as well.
    I like that you worked together with Avery to make sprites for both the sides of the coin.

    @hiddenone:
    The sprites are awesome and can be easily added into the generator for extra details, you also added 3 behavior poses that can be used and modified to make many more behaviors. Thanks a bunch for that!
    The nose of the goblin is legendary, if you look at the map there's a goblin lying down into the water, but his nose sticks out of it (that's how he can breathe, haha).
    Papa, Mama and Orc kid are also a great and unique addition.

  9. These are awesome! It has been hard to get motivated to stay with it recently but the recent surge in resources brings some excitement. My favorites: Avery's angels, Candacis' cliffs, Hiddenone's goblins/orcs. Thanks so much and, to Avery, happy belated birthday! :kaojoy:

    As for what we'd like to see more of: musical instruments? That could be just me though; I'm not sure how much that would interest others.
  10. I'm happy everyone is liking the goblin's nose, it's my favorite part of them too. :kaoluv:
  11. Happy to see restaff is back in action once again! Good work on the package everyone! Hope to see more great things from this generation of the RM community!
  12. wow!!! Very nice! I loved the angels! :)
  13. How did I miss this until now?!? YAY!! Thanks everyone for the goodies!! :)

  14. Excellent work!
  15. Everything looks great! Please make this a regular feature throughout the year!
  16. I have only one question, just one question and I hope to get honest answer:
    Why in the world you don't make battle backgrounds?
  17. @Soulrender

    First, everything we do here, is on our own free time and a gift to the community. We don't get paid for it.
    So, we make what we enjoy and want to make. I don't particular enjoy making enemy battlers, sideview battler/sprites or battle backgrounds. You will probably never see something like this from me.
    I'm good at tiles, so that's what you get from me.
  18. @Candacis and God Bless you for your work, I'm an active user here for a long time and I was wondering about your ReStaff releases, because they are either battlers, characters, generator parts or - as you said - tilesets. I'm fully aware that to create one decent battle background takes time (lot of time), effort, skills and knowledge on graphic software (I even view video document how background artists work looks like), but I just wanted honest answer... And I thank you for that bowing in traditional japanese way of showing respect.
  19. @Soulrender
    IMHO there's no point in making backgrounds as it's something that can be easily found in either many resource packs or as completely unrelated (to rm) but still free graphic resources.
    Like seriously on the internet there's so many backgrounds free to use, all they need is just small editing to make them fit with rm.
