Yeah, it is a bit loud after the start there.

Nice thread and music guys! As soon as I can strum and sing my songs properly, I'll upload them to Youtube and share them here as well.

I look forward to that!!Nice thread and music guys! As soon as I can strum and sing my songs properly, I'll upload them to Youtube and share them here as well.
I'd like to share with y'all the first song I ever notated. This had been redone quite a few times and this is the final version--It had beenremastered.
This is the final version of the song done about a year ago. I'm not sure if it'd be suitable for a video game or not... Maybe if there's a scene where the playr has to dance (with someone?) and this song would be it.
Anyway, it takes you on a journey through the imagination, the four seasons (Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter), past memories, then back to reality/promise of a better future. That's all in order, by the way.
This song is tied emotionally very deeply to me, so enjoy!
Edit: It's complete to me and I have no intentions of changing nor modifying the melody. But I do thank you all for your opinions! :)

It's suitable for video game. imo. When I'm listening to it, it feels like I'm exploring a starting town or village in an RPG. As the first piece you've ever composed, you did great with it. It hasn't reached the level where I can it's an epic piece yet, but it has potential to be rearranged into something much intuitively melodious. You should improve it, it shares some basic structure with Nobuo Uematsu's styles.I look forward to that!!

Hi I'm new. When I'm not busy with my job, I try and create music using Vocaloid. The music itself is made with Magix Music Maker and a YRG-1000 Gen 2 midi guitar. A lot of the lyrics start out as midis I make with the Guitar as well.
She Probably the song with the most views on Youtube, which means not dismal. :D
Jangyaru A song that means absolutely nothing.
Amai Kotoba A remix of a song by Circus-P.
Kitsune Kitsune I was working on this until that stupid Fox song ruined it for me,
In:Sense a WIP. It's really rough since I am still making the VSQ and haven't tuned it or anything. It's for a contest, but chances are I'll forget the contest and just use Gumi and keep it for myself.
Someone made a page for me on Vocaloid Database, so most of my links can be found there. -
Made another victory music a day ago and I think it'll fit my game much better than the previous one.

@Iron Croc: That was a pleasant listen! But, of course, just about anyone can get a good review from me with a waltz~ That's not to say that's the only reason I'm complimenting the Waltz of the Four Winds. The flute offers wonderful accompaniment, and it's (sadly) not often than the oboe and clarinet carry the tune. Around the half-point of the song, 2:04 and such, it totally sucks me in.Would work well in an RPG for an explanatory scene of sorts. Good stuff. No, really! =D
@Cryeides: The cellos for your Victory music 2 do wonders, but...well, please don't take this offensively, but I feel as though the melody has no direction. It takes a long while before it decides it wants to go for that low G. It's easily fixable, and I'm sure you very well can. Otherwise, keep it up! =D
I made one (retouched up on, I should say) for this week's Weekly Art Challenge that...I'm not really happy with. It's a "sad-sounding" piano piece. I don't really know much to say about it at the moment, especially because I'm being rushed out the door to eat Red Robins with my family at the moment. But eh. I hope you enjoy it, anywho~
You Lose -
@Krimson (Because EVERYONE deserves love! :p )
Wow that's... interesting!
I must confess I'm not a vocalid-type fan, but I can appreciate the hard work and dedication it took to create those. Now, if they only had an english software... I'd be able to finish a couple songs I had! Haha... -
Nah, you're fine. I appreciate some criticism every now and again, as I'm still very new to producing so I've got a lot to learn.@Cryeides: The cellos for your Victory music 2 do wonders, but...well, please don't take this offensively, but I feel as though the melody has no direction. I will say that I'm really not sure how to fix this though, and not entirely sure if I want to. To me, it feels like it's just slowly winding down from winning the battle and bringing you back to the rest of the game world, where things still aren't quite right... But I'd be open to some suggestions on how to fix it if you have any. -
Evry RPG has that "OHNOES!" theme, right? You know, where something cray horrible's about to happen or iS happening... or that "RUUUN AWAAAAAY!" theme... Yeah, this is mine. ^_^
It has no name as of yet though.

Caution: Scary! -
You weren't kidding. This theme made me go, "Nope, nope, nope." It creates the desired effect but again I wish the sound fonts were better. Though, the Finale Soft Synth violin may actually be adding, ha! (I have horrible memories of that violin.)
I've been trying to get this piece as unsettling as possible (while still being pleasant enough to listen to). It's setting is a location that you know well and one that you remember as always being peaceful, pleasant, and delightfully uneventful; but as you make your normal trek it is slowly revealing that something is just wrong, wrong, wrong today! And well, in true fashion, things happen.

Just finished these.
Gah, im so happy with them -
@ West Mains. I really like Minimal Poly Count. All the parts line up well and really drive it and I'm really pulled into it. The part that starts a minute in is where it really starts to shine. It's my favorite piece of yours so far.
I got a piano one today. It's a love theme of sorts. https://soundcloud.com/maireadgamemusic/love-theme-a-sonata-for-his -
This is from my normal soundcloud and completely unrelated to my game stuff. Been working on it for awhile now. I may try to sing on it.
-
This number has been a friend/fan favorite. It's called "Carry Me Away" and I might even break it down for the RPG... maybe...
This is more a real song than a VG song tho, but enjoy nonetheless!

@ Iron Croc I think this song could very easily be made VG song material. And I like it a lot, too! There are a lot of small details in this piece that keep in interesting.
@ Cyreides I really like the feel and atmosphere of this piece, it really lends itself to the title. But I think on a production level you can work on the clarity of the instrumentation. There are a lot of great rhythms and counter melodies but everything is a tad muddy. -
Honestly, I feel like this has been my biggest problem with a lot of things lately. My mixing leaves a lot to be desired it seems.the clarity of the instrumentation. There are a lot of great rhythms and counter melodies but everything is a tad muddy.
-
Try panning some thing around. Also, I find that too much reverb is often a culprit. Adjust volumes/gain on ambient and sustained parts. A lot of the time you can lower them and still hear them perfectly but it will allow some of the softer things to come out more.
-
@Iron Croc I did manage to nearly finish In:Sense It's for a contest, and the main voice is a demo from the company running the contest. And they do have english voicebanks. :D It's just hard to get them to sound right.
-
This is another character theme. I've been trying to get those out of the way.
