  1. This plugin is great! I'm using it on MZ and it works perfectly.

One idea, wouldn't it be possible to use regions to mark where the reflection on the floor will be as well?

It's possible that I mapped it wrong, but look what happens:

When I mark it as layer 0, any floor starts to reflect, if I draw the floors on layer 1, I lose 1 layer in the mapping.
  2. Hello,
I have a bug where using overlay mapping with water parallax at z-1, the water blink for a second then come back to normal.
This happens when I open/close the menu
My map has screen tint event that occur once, noticed that if I put no map tint, the error doesn't occur
If I disable your plugin, it doesn't happen anymore
Do you have any idea ?
  3. Great Plugin! i just wish there was a wave effect for floor reflections
so some tiles would resemble water..
can anyone add this please? :)

I think that was possible as its a pulse effect.

if floors is different than water tiles, than it might to be added, or
manipulate water as floor tiles (maybe regions to walk over it).

so you can replicate the effect in a work around =)
  5. how i do this? :)

    read helpfile?

I use TSR_Mirror, which can have floor reflections by region/tileId.
so if KC has similar, which is also a bit more extended, it can have something
    that have floor reflections.

    unsure of pulse.

a work around would be autotiles, instead of water, use floor tiles
    in the same way.

use a region restriction, and walk over it :)
maybe you can set it in the tileset options to make it walkable for easier use.
  7. Hi, I was trying to integrate this plugin to my project. I tested the demo and it looked amazing. I'm using the MV version here, but it seems like a specific plugin is conflicting with this one.:kaocry:

I'm using Visual Equipment by Rexal, and the generated sprites (actors with notetags, built by layers) are not being reflected properly with this plugin. My conclusion so far is that as VE plugin uses layer too to generate the characters, this could be causing some problems.
I have done some tests and this is what I found:
    • If the main character has the notetags (Rexal plugin) and a character sprite image defined in the actor menu, the reflection shows up, but it always appears (even on tiles where it shouldn’t, so the reflection is permanent and always active) and is also extended to the followers.
    • If the notetags of the plugin are kept but the character sprite image is left empty in the actor menu, then the reflection of the main character doesn’t show at all (regardless of whether it should), although the followers’ reflections work normally.
    • Events (not notetags or related to the plugin), one way or another, are displayed correctly.

(This is probably irrelevant and is not related at the problem at all... but anyway need to point out that my characters are taller than usual, double the height. (96px x 48px instead of the usual 48px x 48px.) But this doesn’t cause any issues, as the reflections are proportional when they appear.
The Visual Equipment plugin is a really important part of my project and I wouldn’t like to remove it, but I think the mirror effect is super cool too. I would really appreciate any help that could contribute to solve this. Thanks in advance. :)
  8. Need video manual - how settings this plugin..
  9. Hi! First of all, thank you so much for the plugin — it works perfectly in MZ.

I have a question I haven’t been able to figure out. For some reason, if I set “floor reflection” to false in the default actor settings, I can’t make the floor reflection appear afterward in any map.

It’s strange, because the opposite does work: if it’s enabled by default and I disable it with a plugin command, it disappears as expected.

I’d like to have everything turned off by default, which is why I’m asking.

What might I be doing wrong? I’m testing directly in the demo project…

Thanks a lot in advance for your help!
  10. Thank you for this plugin, it is exactly what I was looking for. :kaojoy:
