Artist comment: Ahaha. ^ q ^; Im planning to use this theme
challenge to teach myself what those cool artists call 'speed painting'!! So. I hope
you'll forgive me when the first however many entries look like baby's first coloring
book. Since it was first entry I was a bit generous and gave myself 3 hours. ^ q ^;

Looks great. How long are you giving yourself for the rest? In my ignorance I would have thought that 3 hours = speedy already.

@ksjp17: Well, the most common number of hours I see is two for speed paints...so I'm kind of aiming for that! Ofc...I'm also giving myself a max of 4-6 hours...depending on how my first two hours of work come out. ^ u ^;; I don't want it to look like an utter disaster after all. I just tend to take...FOREVER when I start painting. Haha. Three IS actually the fastest painting I've done in a long while. YEY THIS CHALLENGE is...helping..already. /ignores how incomplete it looks.

@Justin: Awww THANK YOU~ <3 I'm glad you find her cute. :3c Hopefully she'll get cuter! Maybe. After a wardrobe change. Gotta prepare for adventure after all!

Gosh the detail on that hand and hair! Do you draw it out first and then scan it in?

@Lunarea: Well, speed painting requires just as much experience and practice as any other part of art I think? You could probably practice speed painting now and see how it improves your painting-painting hahaha. I don't think think it's every too early to start learning it, but it would probably help a lot to know some basics at least for the shading and shadows + lighting! You should def start trying though! Haha. I'm not really sure my 'speed paintings' right now even really count ...but eh~.

@Alkorri: ;-; /bro5. Everything I draw is done all digital. I don't scan things in mostly because..XD; I hate having to do that extra step. So actually I sketched this out, drew it and painted it. XD...not exactly the most conventional of speed painting tbh, but I'd take forever the other way.

@Scythuz: Hahahah I'm afraid to try boogle. What if it truly exists....but thank muchly Scyfigs!

I feel bad that pretty much the first thing I said was "dat butt," but ughurhgurhgru these are so niiiiiiicccce. ;^^^^;

Also AHAHAHAH the Boogle had me crying..
