L8rose's Art Stuffs

Been a while since I updated art. Still doing monsters for my games but have spent the better part of the last few months doing commissioned work.

So, taking a break from finishing up my game jam game (cause it's just not fun until it's down to the very last minute) to show off some of the character artwork. The bust portions might not be in the game (or the faces for that matter) but planning on "prettying" it up when I'm done. If I still have the patience after this month, going to try and adjust the sprites as well to reflect the different heights.

First and last are my favorites. Their faces have something interesting (last one even has some boyish feature)

I was aiming for young so I suppose boyish works for the last one. xD

Mermay with a rushed coloring just for some sanity's sake.

New image for my user profile (a redraw of an older one from years back) and some sketches of a long time character and a few of his various forms. This month has been crazy busy despite the quarantine and I'm about ready for some vacation.

Decided to color one of the sketches for practice this week.

Some updates as it's been a few months. Mostly just face/icons.

Might use the dragonwip as the title image for my Game Jam submission but we'll see how that goes.

And some new stuff as sketchy practice each day makes the world go round.

Also included is the various designs for the MC for my game Jam game. Decided to try a more anime style twice but disliked for various reasons and just went back to something closer to my own style.

Last pic I Also like a lot. Especially the larger face, looks a bit native american to me in facial structure but that could be me xD

Thanks! Maybe one day my lining will be on par with my sketching.

And she does a little, combination of the eyes and cheek bones I think.

Your lining is pretty good though, but sketiching is always easier - comes more natural I guess (personal experience anyway lol).

Yeah the eyes, cheeckbones and the nosebridge make that appearance.
Really like her the more I look at her.
She has something very subtle yet strong to her.

So here are the majority of faces from Unremembered. I don't really like the two old people faces as they remind me of people wearing masks.
Also included is a portion of the cast from Starcrossed. Debating on adjusting the outfit of one and lightening the lines of another but otherwise pretty happy with these ones.

The rest of the NPCs for Starcrossed as well as a few sketches of various rooms.

Small update for Friday. Just a multi-tool and a sorta-futuristic visor.

Sat long enough to do a mostly full body this week.
Tweaked the design of the Fungus type alien, this is probably going to be the design I go with for the character.

First art of 2021... totally slacking but hey, slowly getting back to some sort of regularity.

Just some tags I made for another site I'm on.

Some warm up sketches and a 100x100 icon based on a larger size of artwork that was requested.

Some new mimic ideas, a unicorn-thing and my version of a 'Bomb' from FF6.
