  1. I should be completely done, I've done an extensive spell check across everything and the few bugs and graphical errors that were found have been patched up. Already uploaded the finished product, I'm so relieved. Congratulations to everyone who finished in time and best wishes to those who are on the last crunch. I'll be cheering you on, good luck everyone!
  2. Good luck to all who are entering! May the best game win!  ^_^
  3. Am on the final push now, wife and I have played through it, found a game-breaking glitch at the end...  Starts the opening cut scene loop over, and I can't get it to not to.  I've tried most everything I can think of, am trying a few more things now...

Hope I can get it soon!

    You too.

I am currently finishing some final touches.
  5. EVERYTHING DONE.

That...  That was a wild ride!

NOW I just need to figure out how to export it for an installable game!  *Nervous noob chuckle*

    EDIT:

Clarification:  I know how to export a file and get the blue cube thingy.  Trying to figure out how to make an installer file after that...

    EDIT EDIT:

I have the installer file set up and working properly now.  Just over 300MB, with RTP (yes, I'm including the RTP, because I've used a fair portion of it's tilesets and music as well).  NOW I'm trying to install Google Drive on my damn computer, but it's wanting to play SILLY BUGGERS.  Another 25 minutes for the Dropbox upload to complete, as well...  I'll get roughly 66 downloads a day on that one, I think (20GB per day, I think it is).  That should suffice, if I can't get the other working.  Wife is trying to put it on our "SuperComputer" (long story, ask me some time I might tell ya), and we'll go from there.  I have no idea why my computer is being difficult-it's having all kinds of issues with the internet...
  6. Well. The Worst has happened. A stack level too deep error that I can't seem to pinpoint...

Other than that good luck everyone!
  7. Ouch! There is a few hours left, maybe you'll find it in time!
  8. Haha at the very least, it'll be a dramatic conclusion.
  9. Just do your best!
  10. I FINALLY FREAKING FINISHED! I had to leave out a couple features I wanted, but all in all I'm happy with the finished project ^.^

Now to go to sleep :p
  11. Finished!

Just barely in time due to a few...., ok some grammatical mistakes
  12. um... 13 hours of bug squashing and playtesting...

okay, for sure for realsies, I'm done....

    *faint*
  13. Haha, I wish I had another week to fix everything about this game that is bothering me, but I'm just thwarting some small errors. Anything else will have to wait for a rainy day.
  14. It's 5:45 in the morning, I haven't slept, and my poor emotional climax scene has been thoroughly butchered, but I am finished!  Huzzah!

...Now, if only I could get an upload program to work.  Attempting to install Google Drive just blue-screened my computer, but I managed to kill the nasty thing.  Need to find alternatives. >_>

Just use the web interface: drive.google.com.

Nope, no luck.  As soon as my computer starts actually uploading the data, my internet connection gives me a yellow error symbol, stuff starts freezing up, and only a hard reset will fix things.  I don't know why, but I just can't make the upload!

I browsed through some of the other entries' download links, though, and ended up using File Dropper.  I'll see if I can use a computer at work, today, to make another attempt at getting a backup link, but, otherwise, fingers crossed!

I'm going to have to make a forum page for my game, or something, if I want to get any feed back.  There's such a deluge of games coming in here at the end that I hardly think any of them are going to get noticed by anyone except the judges. :|
  17. My game has turned into something monstrously different over the span of a few hours.... I'm not sure how this is going to turn out.

But hey, good luck everyone! We're almost there!
  18. I finished, it's uploaded, I'm happy with it (despite some spelling errors-not my strong suit), and I got probably 95% of the bugs I found out of it.  *Nods*  I'm actually pleased with what I've done.  This is the biggest accomplishment of my game dev career, and I hope like hell it takes off!

Good luck everyone, *Insert cliche wish that everyone could win, but seriously, I do*
  19. And done... phew!
  20. Well, I just found a glitch I thought I'd fixed with passability.  Turns out I had set them in as active object events.  Since I forgot to set them to "Same as player," the player can just run right over them.

It's not a MAJOR issue, but it does make for less of a challenge in that particular area.

There goes the Grand Prize for friggin' SURE.
