I thought I was well on Steam... Someone there made me discover your.net version. I thought I was well on Steam and having a wee bit enough of two place to log-in and look at the RPGMaker community and ... Someone posted me linked here that general public just couldn't see. Now I think I am well now on the very official and unofficial and Steam forums! Please, I think I can't get more IN to the community than be ON the official forums.
So if you still try to get me here and there; same name... No not same username where two protection are on and effectively -and especially- not same password! (For those who thought I was enough nut for it.)
So right now I am a very slow learning newcomer. I, once in a while, solve bugs trough the use of Photoshop and recently, despite of my love for the graphical work of Acheaia or is it Luneara? I taken upon me to make sprites on some battlers I don't see in the sprite sheets or give some $Big Monsters their own full sprite sheet. (Yup! The full walking Ogre or Ogress that me and someone finally started to name GOTTO Label or GOTTO La Belle.) Folks said it was all right with the TOU and I also had the comment that I also helped others that way and to stop feeling guilty to work over RPGMakers VX Ace original artist works. (I have the feeling it might be a wee bit unwelcomed for an artist to see someone gets into center stage and says by their doing "Well see; I IMPROVED/finished your work!" So sorry Acheaia or Luneara again by this. I guess I owe you an apology each time I log in a new site for giving a rework of your work!)
So here I have finished with the introduction; I wish I had something more interesting to show you all. But in RPGMaking... I am fairly new on a software and I don't think my traditional 2D animation background really count here now.
Hullo Marquise here!

Welcome to the group!

Hullo you! You seem like a prolific illustrator and writer of some kind.
Any great idea of where I should first peek a look around?
Or things I should know of? -
I'll steal Andar's link to beginner's tutorials.
Just remember to read and follow the sub-forum specific rules as well as the general Forum Rules. As long as we are on the subject of rules, be aware that the profile feed/status updates also have their own rules as well. I know it sounds like a lot of rules, but for the most part they are just common sense and politeness.
Have fun! -
Welcome to the community, Marquis! I hope you enjoy your stay and grow in RPGMaker knowledge and skill with our help!
I'm sure your art style will be just fine. 2D is the meta in these parts. You'll just need to learn how to use the tools at your fingertips and it'll be smooth sailing. -
Hey, thanks Cadh20000 it is useful since when we subscribe here we have to click that you read the TOU or something and when you click to read it, the link goes nowhere! ;)
Seems I cannot quote yet here sorry.
And, Chiakster... Not to rush you or something, but Marquis is not me! It is close thought ;)
Well I solved two days ago some hard part in one of my rooms. I will kind of take it as is even if it bugs a bit tough; we can't have all we want. So yes, I might be on my way. I just don't feel like it that much yet. -
Welcome buddy. Welcome to the family!

Thank-you Suzan. It made me look retrospectively at my work. Now bugs moved into my bed. XD
All right they are fading a bit; I had a full 5 months of Bedbugs... Still have some. It cuts energy, money, confidence and inspiration. ^^;
So my learning curve has just flat lined out a tad. -
Welcome, enjoy your time with everyone..

Welcome aboard Marquise. Have a great time here.

Thank-you! ^^
