  3. Sorry for the bump but I've been receiving a few reports of the images being saved as the wrong size, I've since corrected this and re-linked all of the battlers to another location until I can figure out if it's a dimensional limit with this gallery or something else.

Cheers to Netsu for the initial report on this.
  4. I hope the next battler you will do is the mage
  5. Which one? I've got the one with the rod in the previous group shot or the one in the blog banner that has the staff.
  6. They both look awesome, but if i had to vote i'd go for the one on the blog banner, simply because i particularly like her clothing haha.
  7. I love still love your style so much. Gonna download these since I'm trying something and kinda need sprite sheets like this.

BTW, can I request a character design I'd like to see? >_>

The one named Imedia, from the rtp vxa ace I think.
  9. hello, I love your side battlers, but I have two questions,

how long it takes to make one?

    what program do you use?

    thanks
  10. I had some nice pose ideas for Imedia (Which I was since corrected that her given name was Bray) so I might try to get those in action.

Cheers Neon, trying something? Oh I'm interested, I love seeing what people do with these. You can certainly PM me as much detail as you like but I'm really heavily backlogged at the moment with things like that.

Thank you semigue, I haven't timed recently but previously it took me about 39 hours. It really depends on what I'm making as even the slightest complex pose can take hours upon hours to work. I use graphics gale, but as long as you've got a program that uses layers and possibly gif creation feature (not essential but it helps observe things when spriting) then any program would do.
  11. Update ;) 2 Faced

  12. in that gif, he seems to bounce a little. i'm hoping it's just the alignment in the gif—it's probably fine in the sprite sheet. just a headsup.

the main reason i posted here though is to give you even more mad props.

it's one thing to be a decent pixel artist, it's another entirely to consistently create original resources. as always, there's lots of room for improvement. but also as always, you consistently get better with each release. and the sheer amount of releases that you have here is incredible. keep it up, bro.

i want to see some more bosses. maybe i'll even try to make something in your style (but maybe not because i've been too busy to make resources lately).

this is great though, dude. i've said it before and i'll keep saying: you're improving with everything that you make, and you're contributing tremendously to this community. this is exactly what this place needs: more adventurous people willing to create original works.

    so yeah bro: mad props.

here's my advice. I know it's not very time efficient, but you will improve tremendously as an animator if you aren't afraid to completely resprite your frames (and it looks like you are doing more of this with your new stuff, so rock on). it seems that you do a lot of edit-animation, particularly in the human characters (the older ones moreso than the newer ones)—and i would love to see you really push yourself to take your animation to the next level.
  13. That's pretty much the animation of the battler, the original which I referenced it from actually bounced off the ground. Since I attempted this before using eight frames which worked I couldn't get it within the four frames and still keep a decent spin, so I settled on a floating wobble.

Thanks :) That actually means a ton to me, I couldn't ever keep to a certain style before for one reason was the almost zero replies (I know people say it doesn't mean anything but it's feedback like yours which really helps to keep going).

You're right I have been trying not to copy and paste over frames (using the onion skinning option now) but it is a massive time factor, which is why I still try to get the sly frames in there :p

I have been worried though as with when I used to make tilesets, I'd get to a point and look back and notice a change, I couldn't help but go back over and redo everything... which is why I'm pleased to hear you say I'm still being consistent.

As for bosses I'm not sure if you ever check my wordpress blog but I'd done a bit of faffing around and came up with a light template which I could use as a boss of the Migar Zolom, still in the works but hopefully soon.

Thanks again and it'll be brilliant to see you make one if you do every find the time - I know it'd have mint animation and flow to it :D
  14. It's too bad that these can't be used for commercial purposes, because you are a very talented artist when it comes to battlers.

Any chance of you doing for-hire works? ;-)
  15. Wow, these are amazing! I love the archer, he's amazing! And the enemies and boss sprite too!

    Great job, Holder. :)

*I hope posting in this thread was okay...*
  16. It should be fine Magitek as I'm still continuing with these, actually just finished the matching material so I'm back onto that mage now :)

Sorry James as I've said before these come from a various number of referenced costumes, creations an sources so it'd be too complicated and not really right for me to say that they can.

I don't do hire works either because I don't honestly know how much free time I have to come, I work on these when I can and that can be quite random at times.

EDIT: Oh I've re-uploaded all these battlers to the Gallery as I forgot about the size issue which was there.
  17. I really, truly do love these. Asimole is 5 different kinds of awesomeness so you know. My favorite characters are Elicia and Meliadul. Can't wait to see your Zolom. It looks pretty cool for a rough version. Keep up the splendiforic work xD
  18. Thank you Zasian :) I've been meaning to do the other two versions of Asimole but it's surprisingly difficult to go over with new parts/details.

I jump onto doing more of the Zolom now and then, it's still just the first frame but I've made a few alterations since the first draft.
