  1. You know, some people might want to use these as playable characters. I feel kind of disappointed to see you type as an absolute for these characters.
  2. @Benny Jackdaw People are free to use my battlers however they want, I'd love to see a full playable team of them in a game! I just write the little descriptions so I can have fun with alliterations and puns, there's no deep meaning to them.
  3. I stopped working with the MV since a while because of the lack of monster sideviewbattler matching the RTP.
It seems I dont have an excuse anymore.
Thank you for your great work.
  4. I come as an idiot seeking enlightenment.

I download the images using the 'Save image' option when I right click.
When I look at them in my folder, everything is crystal clear.
When I open them in GIMP, however, they are a complete mess. Here, for example, is what the red-clawed spider looks like then.

Should I be saving them in some other way?
    Thanks.
  5. @Kes I've looked into the issue, and it seems like my site saves the files with indexed colors instead of the normal RGB... So they can end up weird when opened in gimp or photoshop. Oddly, my version of gimp doesn't have them that oddly colored. I'll look into this and see if I can fix things, but a work-around for now is to open it in Paint and then save it there to get the colors right (there'll be a white background, but removing it in gimp should be easy enough).
  6. I joined this forum just this minute specifically so that I could thank you for your awesome sprites, @hiddenone! I can't wait to use the Hine sprites, and I love that now that you have so many of the animal sprites covered, I can set up a transform spell for my mage categories!
  7. Thank you very much Hiddenone, beautiful pieces as always and very much appreciated.
  8. I've got a new generator part today, a commission by @The Stranger who kindly let me share it with everyone! Have you been wanting to make a team of modern fighters, but haven't been able to find some decent outfits for them to wear? Now you can dress them up in a SWAT outfit like the default sci-fi sprite!

    Click to download!
I've also got another template for the Hine Series: Elves! If you're making a fantasy game, then you've gotta have elves!

    Happy game making! :rwink:
  9. @hiddenone your work is simply amazing!
Thanks for @kovak for showing me this post.

Also @hiddenone ...can you do something about this guy?

  10. @StrikerVT I do plan on making a battler for that guy eventually, but it probably won't be anytime soon. RavenBlackbird does have one in his thread though. :)

We've got another generator part thanks to @The Stranger today: the male police outfit! Now you can have officers to keep the peace in your modern games!
    Happy game making! :rwink:
  11. Thank you, @hiddenone .

And thank you, @The Stranger ! You're giving us so many generator parts. It's amazing.
  12. Many thanks to you, @hiddenone .

I have one question: Some accessories (like the skull hat) are only shown in pixal art (like SV) but are not shown in the face image. Is that just this way or do I miss anything there?
  13. Ok @hiddenone , i'll have a look.
    Thanks!
  14. @AutoBlaze That's just how it is. Some portrait parts are missing since I just haven't gotten around to drawing them.
  15. Hi, I made some characters using your V2 tall sprite templates.
Is it OK to share these as layers? (the base layers include edits, and combining with another sprite for the mounted knight)

    Knight
    knight_foot_animated.gif knight_mounted_animated.gif
    (Horse is by whtdragon)
The mounted character uses the head and torso of your base, legs and arms are redrawn.
The walking character is the original base, with the armour and weapons as layers.
    Youths
    ana_tomas_animated.gif
(Right hand two are from your base, left two from RTP base)
The youth base has some pixels shaved off the outline to make them slimmer and less muscular than the adults.
Also height is reduced by 4 pixels overall
  16. @Coelocanth Thanks for asking, you can totally share those characters as long as you have proper credits. It'd be best if you made your own thread for them though, so that they don't get buried here. :)
  17. @hiddenone , Thank you for checking that. Thanks again for your sharing your resources.
  18. I'd really love a SV Battler for People3_7 (old man with a walkstick)
