Hidden Choice Conditions

RPG Maker MV gives you a way to offer choice selection to your players through events, and depending on the choices they make, the game will respond differently. One thing that it doesn’t support, however, is the ability to hide certain choices from view. For example, if you wanted to offer your players a list of quests that they can complete in any order that they wish, and to remove any completed quests from the list, your only option is to create multiple conditional branches for each combination of quests that are currently available, and create separate choice lists for all of those combinations. With this plugin, you can use a simple event call to hide a choice. Combined with conditional branches and other event commands, you can tailor your events to your needs quickly and easily! Not to necro the post, but is there any plans on updating this in the future? It does not seem to work with the latest version of MV.

@XyphienLLC afaik, Tsukihime is no longer a developer in the RM community and has since moved on to other things.
Therefore, updates to any of their plugins is highly unlikely.

I am pretty sure I use this plugin in my own project without errors. So it could be user error on your part. You'd need to further describe what your problem is.
Alternatively, after Googling, I found this plugin, which seems to do the same thing.

"Does not seem to work" isn't very helpful. I see people talk about this plugin pretty frequently, and I haven't seen anyone else say it doesn't work.

You'd need to provide screenshots/pasted notetags of how you're setting it up, and press F8 and go to the Console tab - are there any errors?

Edit: I just put it into a new MV test project, followed the instructions, worked fine.

It works for me, using the MV Version 1.6.1. However, I have found that you have to do the plugin commands or script calls to hide choices after any "Show Text" commands before your "Show Choices" command.

I may have used plugin commands, but I have a distinct recollection of having to hide choices after any text.

The only other thing that occurs to me is that I nearly always use Yanfly's MessageCore. I don't know whether or not you used it on your test. If not, perhaps it has some effect upon the Hime plugin?

I didn't, but then @XyphienLLC didn't say they were using any other plugins. The statement was that Hime's plugin doesn't work with the current version of MV, which it does.

Any troubleshooting beyond that should be taken to a dedicated thread.
