  1. Hello all,
A screenshot of my work on MV tilesets/maps (WIP), for my futur project, I hope you like.
(At this step the map have no light effect and no PNJ (they will come), part of the animations are not yet added also).

(RPGM MV + Yanfly Doodads + custom graphics.)

  2. @Moo I find Japanese screens in what is otherwise a western setting rather odd.

I also think that the whole map is too big. I would compress the main room and the kitchen by quite a bit. The kitchen, for example, is 12 tiles wide (I think) = 36 feet = nearly 11metres. I would have it not much bigger than the bedroom. The main room could probably be halved in size as well.

As your windows indicate that this is daytime, you should have unlit candles.
  3. Hi, thank you,

Your reply confirm what i think, some rooms are too big, kitchen for example yes, for the japanese style it's an impression because they are not japanese style, only flowers, they looks like, perhaps to eliminate confusion I will rework that, and for canddles i'm ok, I added before and I don't know if I will keep them or not, with the good light effect and windows.

Really thank you for comments that really help :)
  4. @Moo @Kes I actually have another take on that. It's not so weird, because I know that European nobility and wealthy were in love with the folding screens. Now, the stone and folding screens I am not sure that's a good combination, but... I googled it and found this on WIKI:
    Spread to Europe[edit]
Chinese folding screen used at the Austrian imperial court, 18th century, the Imperial Furniture Collection
Folding screens were introduced in the late Middle Ages to Europe.[1] In the 17th and 18th centuries, many folding screens were being imported from China to Europe.[1][2][15] Especially the French had a certain admiration and desire for the Chinese folding screens,[2] along with the rest of Europe,[1] and they began importing large lacquered folding screens adorned with art.
  5. @Caitlin Oh thank you for search and informations !
  6. I'm pleased to show you all Wilhelmina, The warrior from the West.

  7. I'm back to ask for your opinion!
There's something to change in this map? Something that miss? Something that would be more realistic if done in another way?
/ Sorry for my english if I make mistakes /

  8. @EdithHyde I'm wondering about the perspective of the cupboard in front of the window. It looks to me to be more top-down than the other pieces of furniture. Everything else has sides which is straight vertical, that piece looks like it is slightly wider at the top than at the bottom, with sides which are a little angled rather than 180 degrees to the floor. Is it from a different tile set?
  9. @Kes Probably it is, I have a large collection of tiles and now I don't remember from which set it comes.
Do u think it's better if I change the cupboard with another one? Maybe the final result will be better?
  10. @EdithHyde I'd try a different cupboard there. The present one just looks odd, imo.
  11. @Kes Okay I changed the cupboard. It looks better with this one?
Oh and I fixed that odd-looking of the window. Way better now right?

  12. @Kes Thank you for your help! The room's way better now!
  13. =^_^= What I can see looks like nice, @EdithHyde!

Now, onto my map, because I just saw those tiles that FSM has been doing on their twitter feed (I follow them, he he hee), so I wanted to give it a little try. They look awesome, even if there's not much there at the moment. <3

  15. I currently have some free time between two exams and decided to customize my little minimap system.

This is what it looks like so far. I'm not much of a graphic, but I wonder what you think about it. I chose this color to fit the game's Windowskin color.

  19. Hey all! Here are some screenshots of my take on the "Buff/Debuff" system. I call it "State of Mind". I'm curious to see if the representation I made of it is clear.
