Music can be used in multiple makers so I'm going to move this over to general resources.
-
Hey, awesome music in there! in what name would you like to be credited? Margor3000?
-
Thank you very much :)
I would be pleased about an entry in the credits in my name: Marcel Scheitza -
Ok :) , when I use them in a project or something, I'll give you a link to it :)
-
Oooh... gonna take a look at this
-
Very nice, I like!!
-
Oh my god! Jeasus! These are good!
I'll make sure to use these for my projekt and of coures give you credit for it! -
I must say, I am highly impressed by the music that I am hearing. A lot of creepy Piano from what I got which I love, specifically Carrilon sends a chill up my spine which screams "Haunted House or Evil Castle" which is great.
Reviews for each individual track below!
That about does it for my "Evaluation" of the music you can get here. It's all very good and I highly suggest getting them, they are wonderful songs and if you lack ideas on what to use each one for well, just read my above reviews, you might get a push in the right direction.SpoilerBattle for Andoria is nice for Events.
Battlefield as well is good for specific Events like Flashbacks or "Meanwhile with the Enemy" kind of thing.
Beyond the Stars I would most likely use for a Title Theme or some sort of Main Theme for the Prologue or Ending.
With Carrilon see above, it's got that "Evil Castle" feel to it and I love that.
Caves actually gets me a little pumped up as odd as it seems, I like how it sounds. Though I would probably use it as a Character Theme instead of an Area Theme it's great for both.
Courage and Fear is nice as well as Challenge, good possible battle themes for areas that use Carrilon.
Dangerous is another amazing Event Theme, Character Theme, or Area Theme.
Dark Kingdom is exactly what you would expect from the name in my opinion. It's sound is ominous, evil, dark. I like it :)
Darkening I would actually use for a dark dungeon like a dimly lit mine or forest since it sets the mood for creepy. Maybe an evil town as well.
Desert is just as one would expect from it's name, arabian-ish in a way, but it's fun too, so Yay for Desert Trade Towns or Desert Dungeons!
Draven is a pretty dark sounding character theme which I am guessing is why it's named "Draven".
Elysium is pretty neat, kind of battle or "Final Battle Approaching" event. Maybe even the final Dungeon.
Fairy Tale I am not sure what to make of, it's somewhat different than the others that I have listed above at first but quickly transgresses into something similar which is neat. It's not a bad thing that I am not sure what to make of it, it's good since it could be used for a lot of things. World Map, Area Theme, Character Theme, Event Theme.
Fossils and Badinirie... Oh where do I begin? I hope I can be forgiven for one small curse..This song should be named Fossils and Badassery I love it, upbeat, awesome, great for any kind of Ruins type of Dungeon or Event where you introduce an epic character in my opinion. :3
Journey seems just a bit slow when compared to the others but I suppose it's for the reason it is a little more heavy on bass and not as much piano in it as the others. Honestly it's still a really good song for Events or Dungeons.
Lynda is upbeat heroic/royal in a way. Fits for the type of "Hero Character" though like Draven I suppose that's why it is named "Lynda".
Mana Village. Finally we get to a good Town Theme, I like it, slow, peaceful, enjoyable, good on the ears.
Mirror Cabinet. Interesting, somewhat sad to me in tone at first but becomes a little more uplifting later on as if it is meant to do what a Mirror does.. Reflect. :)
Ruins of Truth. Ooooo~ Creepy Ruin Theme? Yes. Drums are nice in it, good for an Evil Ruin kind of theme or again, a Character Theme.
Selection. I almost feel as if this is meant to be a Title Theme, because of the name mainly but needless to say it fits in great.
Short Journey is actually pretty neat, kind of like Journey if you listen to both, you will notice Short Journey is kind of like a sped up and edited version of Journey which is great, adds variety. I would probably use it for World Map. Also it's true to it's name, which again.. I like. xD
Stalking and Attack... Heh.. Creepy, Awesome, beautiful music, good for events, dungeons, or character themes.
Stardust... Hmmm... Somewhat slow at first but quickly comes in with good drums and an overall epic melody good for Character Themes, the Chanting in it is amazing as well. I would probably use it for a Dungeon myself.
Superiority is a good one for Character Themes or Events, Maybe a Boss Battle. I like it quite a bit, it's inspiring. Especially for an Evil Character... Hehehehe >:3
The Chase is a fun one to listen to and I would actually use it for a Battle Theme or Event Theme it's so fun and upbeat. Actually makes me want to kind of run after something and fight or run away from something... Come to think of it, this would go well with a "Festival of the Hunt" or "Exterminate All Enemies!" kind of Quest due to it's upbeat nature.. I like it a lot.
The Lord Appears is pretty good for an Evil King type of character theme, at first I was like "Okay this may be a royal theme" and it caught me off guard with "Nope, Evil King! Haha!" which is great, so many "Heroic King Themes" are around so this is a great one!
The Sorcerers Apprentice.. Oh yes.. Yes.. This has all of my yesses... Oooooooooh~ I love this one, I honestly may use this one for one of the characters in my side-game.. So beautiful *.*
Ultima Arx is a good Dungeon or Event Theme. Personally I would use it as a dungeon theme. :)
Uncertain Fate. Yay! A "Flashback" Theme! I actually had a lack of these myself. I can't wait to use this one in my game to be honest!
Victory, a glorious Battle Theme actually, I like it. Starts epic, stays epic. Love it.
World Theme is again, like Lynda and Draven, exactly what you would expect from it's name. Something beautiful with a good tempo. Another good one.
I give this artist's music a 10/10.
Way to go Marcel! I hope to see more from you in the future as I love pretty much every song you have up. :) -
Thank you very much for spending time in reviewing my tracks and for the nice words :)
I had considered "Victory" as a victory track after the battle, but... I think, you are right, it's more a battle theme, than a victory theme.Victory, a glorious Battle Theme actually.
But for a Battle Theme it is too short, I think. Maybe I will make a second version out of "Victory", which fits for a battle theme. -
Perhaps name it "Triumph"?Thank you very much for spending time in reviewing my tracks and for the nice words :)

I have now officially liked your stuff on all three forums I have seen you on :D ^~^ Flipping amazing music! :D I love it <3
-
Tank you very much :)
And here comes the next update:
Dungeon Theme:
Battle Theme:
Both tracks fit together.
Have fun :) -
Sorry, I know I am 10 Days Late with this, been rather sick recently so I had to stop myself from getting online.
Now, I love the update, both songs are fun, Flutes in the Air is definitely one I may use for a Dungeon if I turn my Novel Series I am working on into an RPG and Battle in the Air will definitely be the Battle Theme. Reason being is that it reminds me so much of the old .Hack// Games how they had the area song and then it would turn into a battle prepared version of the area song as you engaged combat, hope to see more like this :D -
The Elysium Beta testers were very slow, so I had many time to compose more tracks for the Elysium OST Vol.2 :)
Welcome To Alitia (Welcome to a continent, where nobody has ever returned from)
Tundra Of Pain
Clareagor* Appears
Clareagors* Betrayal
Eastern Forest
* Clareagor is a crazy, vicious, faithless, but mighty character
The above tracks all fit to each other, they were composed for a single chapter.
Arx Lumine (When the sun sets over the desert, Arx Lumine appears in it's full splendor)
Stars Over The Four Seas
Lost In The Jungle
Have fun at listening :) -
Time for a Rion Rockin' Review! >:3
Welcome To Alitia - I really like this one, while my game's world map isn't really divided into different continents I would definitely use it for a rather epic dungeon, definitely one with a puzzle in it.
Tundra Of Pain - Like above with Welcome to Alitia, I would use this for a dungeon, definitely good in tone.
Clareagor* Appears - I thought the name alone would make this guy seems somewhat evil... Man was I right when I hit Play on this.. Clareagor seems completely evil, might use this for my Villain's theme.
Clareagors* Betrayal - Definitely one of the "Things just got real" moment themes. I like it when paired with Clareagor Appears
Eastern Forest - Yeeeesssss~ I have been waiting for a good theme to go with the forest level in my game and this works well! :D
Arx Lumine - Mmmm... This started beautifully and really keeps that feel of wonder in it... I like it a lot, will definitely use it for a "Historia Tower" in my game :3
Stars Over The Four Seas - Yes, yet another I would consider using for a Historia Tower in my game :D
Lost In The Jungle - And yet another I would use for a Historia Tower, I like it, nice theme for Jungles too as the title suggests.
If you are wondering, Historia Towers will be optional Dungeons in my game where the player can explore, fight strong enemies, and learn the history of the world the characters live in.. And maybe obtain some very interesting equipment or gain new allies. :3 -
I think your music is the best part here.
-
First of all: Thank you very much, for reviewing my update(s) :)If you are wondering, Historia Towers will be optional Dungeons in my game where the player can explore, fight strong enemies, and learn the history of the world the characters live in.. What's the name of your game? Is there any demo or playable version out there?
Music is a matter of taste. So, something like "The Best" does not exist in the context of music, I think.I think your music is the best part here.
The music I compose, is exactly my idea/taste, how Video Game Music should be, one of many ideas :)
But, thank you very much for your appreciation :) -
No problem when it comes to the reviews, it's fun and gives me a break.First of all: Thank you very much, for reviewing my update(s) :)

Currently I am working on two games, one is my own personal creation and the other is being worked on with a team.
Chronicles of Lorna will be my personal one
Tales of Liore will be the Team Game I am working on.
Sadly they are in their very early stages as I am constructing the universe from scratch. -
