Added Sprites - Dragon Ball - Master Roshi

Just found this while looking for my own Transformer thread. Great work on your Transformer G1 sprites. Creating them at MV default size must have been a pain you but managed to capture their essence really well. And Reboot! I loved that show as a kid. Hexadecimal has got to be one of my favorite chaotic villain's of all time.

@DylanTheGamerDad - I've been working on that Ninja Turtle RPG in my spare time. Lots of fun to try and put together. I have been using the sprites that you came up with, except the footsoldier, I made one that was a little closer to that seen in the OG Cartoon from the 80s and 90s.

I'm currently working through DBZ and Power Ranger characters.
Anyone have any 1985 to 2005 character sets they would like to see added? -
I think the first thing that came to mind was G.I. Joe, I think that might be pretty cool. Also, maybe something like He-Man...Anyone have any 1985 to 2005 character sets they would like to see added?

I remember GI JOE as my older brother was heavy into it and we owned like every toy/vehicle and bases. Not so much He Man. Im only 36 though so a little young for those cartoonsI think it the first thing that came to mind was G.I. Joe, I think that might be pretty cool. Also, maybe something like He-Man...

Pushing myself to get back into the swing of things. Wanted to start out small and simple to get back into the groove of creating with pixels and build the memory muscle of Aseprite. Whipping up a bunch of Pokeballs (I know they are probably done to death on this page and many others).
Hoping to get back into characters and tilesets for the same!
Stay tuned

Finished the Pokeballs and Digivices
What else can you think of from that era of toons?
-
Oh, awesome! Love the digivices!
What else from that era....? Dragon Balls have arguably been done enough times, but an obscure one that comes to mind are the stone disks from the Monster Rancher Anime (used to summon new monsters). Think there was only one real "pattern" to them, but it still could be cool. -
Love it. Yeah I was trying to think of what would be good with the Monster era of toons.Oh, awesome! Love the digivices!

Pokemon - Pokeballs / Pokedex / Flute / Berries
Digimon - Digivices / Crystals
Monster Rancher - Stone discs
Medabots - Medals / Robotic Parts
Been doing consoles and such for now -
Gave it a bit more thought and searching.
One thing that came to mind is an anime called "Zatch Bell!" from the early '00s, involving several puppet-like spirits who partner with humans via spellbooks to fight for the throne of the demon world. Those spellbooks are similar in design but have different colors, similar to digivices.
Looking at Digimon, Tamers had the cards - the card back, along with Blue and Red digivolution cards, could be interesting.
Maybe also the D-Terminal and Armor Eggs/Digimentals from 02, to go along with the Digivices?
There was a weird one I remember from Jetix called "Flint the Time Detective" with "time shifters" who had two alt forms - a good/super form and an evil "Con" form. Forget exactly what triggered the transformation, but looking at a random episode on YouTube, it looks like the villainess uses a stamp to take over the mind of the Time Shifters. There's also Flint's Axe (who I think is his dad?) and their Time Agency identification/passport thing.
...only tangentially related but I just remembered that Izzy in Digimon had a "Pineapple" laptop. That one went over my head as a kid... Well, that's another option, I guess?
Also, on the bad guy side in Digimon, Black Gears and Dark Rings/Spirals come to mind. They're kind of evil parallels to Pokeballs in a way.
Magi-Nation was another show/game/card-game from that era, which research tells me had "Animite Crystals" for their pokeball analogue. -

Ill have to check out those middle ones as I cant recall them off the top of my head. Yes the black gears and spires from Digimon would be a great addition.
Todays progress. Some original, some edited from what I could find online! -
Oooh, are those some Reboot disks at the top?
The systems are also really good. Definitely some solid work! -
I just finished my console series. I had to majorly shrink them down as I realized they would have been bigger or big as the game sprites which would have made absolutely no sense when uploaded to the game. Was a big bummer.Oooh, are those some Reboot disks at the top?

Gaming Items
Pokeballs
Digivices
Randoms from Reboot
Gaming Console Generations
Majorly bummed i had to end up shrinking them down as I noticed the sizing compared to in game sprites. Rookie move on my part. Lots a lot of detail and hours put in over the weekend. Oh well. Live and learn! -
Bold: The important part. Could you share where you edited some of these from and what their terms are, so people know they can actually use them in their games? 'Tis important information methinks. :)
