  1. Heya, i know there is a thread for people rating eachother, but alot of the people there are only in there dropping their games and leaving so in this thread personally i will play every game posted or at least get through them slowly and in return i ask for feedback on my game

    Solidarity.

I am not looking to exchange upvotes i will upvote if i liked the game my standards arent high this thread if for feedback on my game

as i decided whether to continue making it or not
  2. Alright if the mods allow this, my team isn't too keen on exchanging feedback this way but I'll bite, our game's here: http://contest.rpgmakerweb.com/game/view/id/172

if you want a more lightweight version, copy the link in the description of the page, other wise just press download.

To be clear, I'll play your game PhoenixDeath.
  3. Why not structure this thread like an actual exchange? Instead of posting a link then leaving, we could arrange to pair with other developers who participated. Then, they BOTH play each others games, and BOTH give feedback to each other. I think that would make it more of a win-win situation, as it better ensures that your game is going to be played by someone else, and it would bring fellow devs together! :3

Yeah I like this better. Pair up with another developer exchange feed. After that pair up with another one. Rinse and repeat. Only way this can go south is if one of them doesn't commit.

I want to see the real game you made. I can't believe the keen, thoughtful person like you made that Kusoge...
  6. here's my game,http://contest.rpgmakerweb.com/game/view/id/108 hope you enjoy it!

i checked all your downloads, and they are too big for a 1 hr game. just for a tip, it will hard for users like me to download those files.
  7. I think it more depends on what game engine you used.  And 200mb isn't a huge download for a game these days.
  8. Oh! Ko! is only about 60 megs, it uses custom resources so it doesn't need the RTP. I'm planning on checking out a bunch of other games, but if anyone wants to partner for some light feedback that's cool. :)

  12. Understood. I'll try your game and post my thoughts at that thread.

    EDIT: Done. Thanks again.
  13. Hello!

I actually already posted a review of Solidarity already in this thread.

That being said, if you (or anyone else) could review my game, We Were Made To Perish, I'd be super appreciative.

    Thanks!
  14. Dropping my games here, hopping for some review. I'll appreciate them all.

Hey your game is in my queue to play actually! I'll glady partner up with you and let you know what I think once I get back from work today. :)

Edit: Just beat it. What a cute little game! I loved the art style as well as the light-hearted, off-beat humor of the whole thing. Wish I could have seen more of the robot. He was hilarious in his little solo journey.

    Spoiler
The ending when koh met his mother was quite bitter-sweet. The fake-out when the dad came home and asked about the medicine making the player think it was all just an episode of sorts was cool too! Very good job.
Your puzzles were simple in design and for the most part completely logical. Which is great for a first game. The only one I really had an issue with was:

    Spoiler
The tree. Seemed odd to have you climb the tree one space forward before being able to use the robot. Especially when the tree is so close to that hole.
My only real gripe I guess I have is with the music. Might just be personal preference but that one little ditty that plays through most of the game got repetitive to me pretty quickly. A little more variety here and there would have really helped. But others might disagree with me here.

:rock-left:  All-in-all an awesome game and I'm looking forward to any other games you might create. :rock-right:
