Desert heat haze effect

So I'm working on a desert map right now and I thought it would be cool to add a heat haze distortion effect to the screen but I can't seem to find a plugin that works can someone point me towards something that might help?

@Kwerty I found the second plugin on google but it seems to crash the game instantly with the error cannot read property list of undefined

You could try one of those weather effect mods like on the Moghunter engine. Never tried it with a haze but it might also work like a fog if you use something like a fog overlay with Orange overlay plugin..:kaoluv:

There's a static intense desert sun effect on these forums. Doable with a simple show picture. now for the wavy effect.... that sounds like a filter effect, which moghunter also did:

use Google translate to take it from Portugese to English, I'm not sure you can make the desert haze this way, but ir's possible.
