Deathspark's Let's Plays (Closed) It was a hard decision, and I was slightly reluctant to do it. It's happened many times, but this time, it's for real. I'll close this article down soon and there'll be no more Let's Plays now. As stated from my previous post, I had my reasons to quit, not because I wanted to quit. I really enjoyed playing random games here and there even when I commented on how bad certain games were, but I seriously tried my best for creators to notice the mistakes they had made. I also notice I've not been active a lot lately around here, it's due to the fact that I'm constantly way too busy with too many things to the point whereby I'm just overloaded. So that's pretty much all I have to say. tl:dr, this is goodbye. Not from the forums, but to the Let's Plays... Oh uh, I nuked the whole post because I felt that it's not needed anymore since there are no more Let's Plays. Feel free to contact me however if you have any questions. There is one thing I can do for people who still want me to review your game. I am able to play it and give you a full review but no videos. You'll have to PM me however.

I know I've been quite inactive lately, like super inactive... But yeah, I found time so let's do it. This time instead of streaming from a certain time to another time, I'd stream till I don't feel like it. Meaning, it can be super long, or super short. So yeah there you go. Few things I wanna say though and you may have seen it but I'll say it.

1. Yes, if you noticed, I don't update my star ratings as frequent as I did like last time. Sorry bout that... :/ I'm usually too busy right after streaming because I have work right after that. I'd forget about your ratings. If you really wanna know your game ratings, feel free to ask me, I will give you the ratings.

2. With this new Youtube streaming, thing... I realize I don't need to make new events and whatnot, it works almost like Twitch now so yeah. Basically, I fire up my encoder and boom it goes live, unlike the previous Youtube encoder where you have to fire up your encoder, click go live in Youtube only then you are live.

3. My streams are irregular and sometimes I announce it out of the blue. I know it shucks but sometimes, I don't have a choice really. Unless I can see the future, I can't really confirm that I can livestream or not, so please understand.

So yeah, that's all really. As usual, if you have any questions, feel free to ask!

UPDATE: I forgot Lamia Must Die has an update, so I'll play that I suppose.

Just extract and replace in kitten mita folder.

Tips, if you confused about kitten mita, you can check in menu log, you can find the main objective.

Make some save slot to avoid bad ending~

Anyway, im so sorry, today i can't watch in live.

I'm just lazy to make a dice for myself, I don't have a dice at home. Anyway, I'll use that. It will decide my game to play. There will be 2 games to be played, but both are secrets for now. Once the stream begins tomorrow, it will be revealed.

See you there, and let me just confirm with you, there are no RPGs this time in this stream. It's going to be boom boom boom in this one ;) I promise you that. Explosions guaranteed in both games.

Late announcements, I had a bit of stuff to do, but in the end, I did find time, so yeah. No Let's Plays next week, volunteering for a gaming event next week! I'll reveal more next week. Anyway, I haven't played Whisper of a Rose (And have not figured out what I missed to continue) so unless I know what to do next, I won't play it. So in other words, I can play any game at that time, drop in and just tell me what to play. I will do my best to play any game requested. (What I mean is, if the game is available in my library. If it's not, I'll have to download it.)

For Whisper of a Rose: You missed two things: the correct way to light the torches, as well as a door in the tower. For the torches, there's a hint on the floor below (the one at 25:01). The door is on the floor shown at 12:34.

Let’s Write! (by Deathspark)
Welcome to Deathspark’s Let’s Write! sessions. It will be held on 8pm (GMT +8) Friday every week and I will share some tricks and ways on how to write. I’ll focus mainly on generating ideas and making sure you can make stories with just a few restrictions. What restrictions? Well, I decided an unplanned attack will be best because this way, I can force my brain to think or new and weird ideas, so here we go.

1.     Each time I stream, I will run Fluky 3 times. Each roll has its conditions. Here are the dices.

-         Theme roll

-         Character roll

-         Random event roll

Here is an example of a list.

Theme dice:

1 – Fantasy

2 – Dark

3 – Realism

4 – Horror

5 – Cute

6 – Sci Fi

7 - Animals

8 - War

9 - Mystery

10 - Death

Character dice:

1 – A wimpy guy

2 – A heroic man

3 – A clown

4 – An ordinary girl

5 – Random guy I see on stream

6 – Meap

7 - A bird

8 - Random guy I see in RPG Maker Forums

9 - Random person I see in Facebook

10 - An absolute moron

Random event:

1 – The character must die at the end

2 – The character must encounter at least one dragon

3 – No killing allowed

4 – No monsters at all

5 – The character must be a villain

6 – The character can only say “Meap” throughout his/her entire journey

7 - The character must be a professional gamer

8 - The character must kill someone important

9 - Must have at least 3 plot twists

10 - Kill every character in that story

Is it brutal? Yes? No? For me, all of this seemed fun, and I am confident I can take any of these.

2.     I will focus on trying to teach the completely clueless or someone who is trying to get new ideas. If you are an adept writer or some kind of super novel writer, I don’t think you should be here. Of course, if you want to come along and help, I am happy to oblige.

3.     I will only generate ideas and not write out the story. Writing out a story requires time and no way I can create a short story within 2 hours. I can in my head, but typing everything out is pretty pointless, so we’ll only discuss about main points such as the beginning, climax, some fillers and additional information and the end.

4.     Can you review my story? Yes I can! Just send me your script and allow me to read it. I will read it live like a fanfiction and tell you what you can do to improve it or tell you what I really like about it.

5.     Deathspark, I follow your Let’s Plays. Will you be using your camera? No. I won’t. This is a writing session, not a playing session. Let me emphasize, they are two completely different things. I will be a little serious in these sessions because it’s how I do things. I can joke, but when I’m serious, I’m quite serious.

6. I'm doing this with a friend, in other words, it's going to be a debate. Yes, we're literally going to debate because the styles we write are different, our ideology are different, our perspectives are different, we're basically polar opposites... So it will make the debate intense because usually both of us have a huge disagreement with each other.

7. If you do want to participate, yes you can. If you want to discuss about your story, I can help out live for you. It doesn't have to be livestream only though, so keep that in mind. Ask me anytime, I can help if I am able to!

There is a probability I will not make it this Saturday due to difficulties. But the Let's Write stream will begin tomorrow. (Every Friday from now on) It will all be on Twitch because Youtube was being a total jerk, so I had no choice but to resort to Twitch. Ideally though, this was the first service I used to stream anyway, so to those who were following me on Youtube, sorry for this transition. I guess instead of commenting at Youtube, just comment here I suppose.

This was the result of the first session of the Let's Write! It's main purpose is to inspire you and provide some story ideas. You can take these ideas, but it's better if you add your own originality in it to make sure the story is comfortable for you.
