Thank you! I'm assuming I'll find the new script in the Github link?
The main link should work now.
  2. I replaced the plug-in and the light active radius works just like it did for MV!
    Thank you!

I've run into a problem with the battle tint not displaying when set to between.
But I've managed to solve it by comparing the scrip from the previous version.
  3. Oh boy... I think the MZ update today broke the lighting plugin- is anyone experiencing the same? Nothing lighting-related seems to be working for me.

I tested the latest version of the plugin with MZ 1.4.0 right now, but I didn't see anything strange. Did you do anything else strange recently?

No, nothing at all- today was the first day I've picked up the project to work on since the second week of the kickstarter, and it was working then (I took several screen caps, some of them were in night-lit screens). This is very strange. I shall poke around and see what might have happened.

If you press F8 in game to open the console, is there any error there?

No errors present. What's interesting is that I disabled all other plugins except this one and ran my project, and I had the same effect: no lighting anywhere.
  8. Possibilities:
-You turned off the 'Lighting effect' option. So no lights are present.
-The current tint is '#FFFFFF' (no darkness at all)
-The script has been desactived via plugin command.
-You actived the plugin parameter to require a light event to show the light effects but on the map you test there is no light events.

That's a negative on all of those, and I made sure to check. Tints are happening, as you can see with the screenshot below

however, the lighting effects aren't. Map tags are enabled, <cl: Daynight 68> is it, the map is set to midnight and the fire is set to be <cl: fire 150 #ff8800 b15 night>- but the lighting effects aren't working. I ran an event that advanced time faster and the transition from day to nighttime tints are working just fine, but no lights. This is happening when this is the sole plugin left active as well as when sharing the stage with others.
  10. I created the 'minimum project' with your settings, and I have the expected result.

Can I see your plugin settings? May be you did something weird like having 'Lights Active Radius' at 1.

I am going to re-download the plugin and re-install it one more time, just in case.

UPDATE: That seems to have done it. Exact same settings, but on a new download and inclusion of the plugin. I have no idea why this would have happened.

In all seriousness, glad to see it's solved itself. May be you were using some weird old version of the plugin, I will never know.

PS: You don't need such a huge Lightmask Padding, even for your bigger resolution, 100 should be more than enough.
  13. is theDEMO file removed? while I only see the folder but not the zip?
so there is no download for the demo unless I miss something?

can you direct the link to the demo?

There are still there, you need to have a look at the releases: https://github.com/ImaginaryVillain/community_lights/releases

However, the last release was made a while back,
so you should put in it the latest version of the plugin.
  15. I used MV, but the main link is to JS and folder DEMO to MV/MZ.
but I downloaded the masterList which included MV/MZ demo,
not sure why the zip is linked though.
  16. top image is the DEMO folder where it should be the ZIP to down, but there is none.
download the files seperately takes to much town.

the bottom image is the masterlist, which has code, download ZIP which download
this enter list (MV,MZ Demo and the rest of the items in it.

wasn't there ZIP download when you click the folder? or where did it go?

  17. They are there. You just have to update the script to its latest version. Capture.PNG
  18. I lost the demo, so I wanted to get everything :)
but that link when rechecking only goes to MZ version,
so the MV version isn't included.

but I got the Demo when I downloaded teh master List,
included the JS file and MV demo, I deleted the rest.

but I keep that part in mind, while github seems to be changed too.
