Updated the game to version 2.2 and the download link goes through itch.io now.
A few of the notables changes below:
-Dravax has a new look
-There is now a 10 step minimum you can walk before random battles can occur
-Initial ATB gauge amount is now randomized when battle begins. This applies to both actors and enemies, so battles now have some variance in the initial order in which
everyone is acting. In addition, enemy ATB gauges are now visible. Since they share space with HP gauges, both have been reduced in size to avoid cluttering the screen
-Meditate: MP recovery amount from Luck reduced to 2 * user's Luck
-Spell Shield: Now correctly blocks several skills and magic that it was not blocking, and no longer blocks healing spells
-Xelltath's Unholy Pact: Now restores allies to full HP
Plus some other tweaks to enemy and boss behavior. The Version History file has the full list of changes. A huge thanks to everyone who played/is playing/will play.
MV - Celestial Legacy - A 15-20 hour JRPG style game

I forgot I dL this game. When I reached the part in the walkthrough where it said point of no Return I thought I had reached the endgame. Then I read on the walk-through; there are literally 40 more boss fights.
I just got bored. The characters are all generic. The amnesia hero with a mysterious past that is secretly the chosen one. The childhood gal pal who decides to go with him. For no reason. The honourable knight. An ex-pirate. A bookworm. The most famous war hero who can die from scorpions in a dungeon. An almost mute guy also with a mysterious past. A generic villain.
And Masotun, who is the most pointless character. Only there to give the player a new item. He has no backstory, no actual personality, and is annoying. "Oh, no. The guy we barely knew and cared even less about sacrificed himself. But he did say, "You can do it!" Inspiring? If you are gonna make a 15-20 hour game, you should at least give these guys personality. Instead of their job, being their personality.
Bosses just show up because there needs to be one there. It's not like the villain is putting them in their way. The bosses aren't even slightly challenging. The only time my party was wiped was against a random high-level enemy and that sea monster that you automatically lose against.
Some of the puzzles and secret passages were interesting.
I don't think I can finish it. 40 more bosses? Really?
