Yeah, this is in my list of "bugs I have no idea how to fix and probably never will."
why not place an event 3 width? so its always above player?
character sheet can solve this issue too (not the cleanest way) but still, it works :D.

Do you mean like make the passable areas events above the character, and then select the appropriate tile as its image?

This does work, but most of the passable areas that you walk under use wall and ceiling tiles, and the event doesn't let you select those tiles as their images. EDIT: Correction, it just doesn't let you select tiles from tab A for event images. I think this might have been the first idea I went with when trying to make doorways where you pass under, and this is why it didn't work. Unless I was doing it wrong this whole time.
  3. character shet or B-E tiles.
with B-E you can basicly paint over it, same with with charactersheet
if you keep 48x48 clean, so it overlap nicely :)

this should work fine if its a few, or make 3 width and or 2 height (6 tiles total).
so the door can be left alone as you can walk under by than.

for now, walking up = most issue, if you stand on the door, it breaks they illusion.

this is optional, but it does make the illusion at least better in its current state.
your game, your choice, just suggestion/feedback to you ^^
  4. I have updated the game to version 2.1. It took forever because it was supposed to be small and ended up being much bigger, as usual. The Version History file has all the changes but I'll list some significant ones:
    -Some bugs have been fixed
-Hero Drinks have been replaced with Mega Ethers
    -Xelltath has a new skill
    -Some minor balance changes
  5. I am downloading this again and starting fresh.
  6. Any tips on the room with the fire globe and ice globe and switches to remove the two doors at the top of the page?
I dont remember this when I played it before.
  7. Oo this looks like fun, I'll def be giving this a shot!
  8. Just a suggestion in the dungeon with the sliding pillars , giving a choice to reset the puzzle or not so players will know that they are reset switches.
  9. Your DL link seems to be broken. I click DL and it just takes me back to the dl link.

Hmm... I just tried it and it works. You're talking about the Google Drive link, right?

Yeah, I messed up my downloader. So never mind what I said.
  12. OK, it works fine. Way too many info dumps. You have building upon building, upon building of game mechanics. Looks like the only place you can find items is in pots. This line just sounds wrong, "On the other hand, instant death attacks will never work, either. 'Either' to what? You aren't comparing it to another thing undead are immune to.
  13. Need help. I have lost keyboard control.
Can't move character or even cancel.
    Only mouse control.
    Solved. Reset PC
  14. Started playing this a little bit ago, so far it seems to be interesting and fun. I'm not terribly far yet, just getting ready to enter the ruins.
  15. I get all these different characters to use, but I have no idea how to switch party members.

    If I remember correctly:
Talk to any character while in any ship. The character will ask you if you want to change a party member. Then click the one you want to change and then check your list for who you want to replace it with.
  17. thank you

Well, that's inconvenient. I'm in the room right before the main boss. The dark knight that only cast spells for some reason. He couldn't program it to be in the menu itself?

This is by design. It's like in Final Fantasy 6 where you have to choose a party any time you're going to tackle a dungeon. Although I've taken strides to make all the encounters beatable with any party, most encounters can be made much easier with certain party members. But the point of such a system is that player needs to make choices about how to create the party, as each person has different strengths and weakness.

Out of curiosity, which boss are you on? Xelltath can do more than cast spells.
  20. Yes, being able to change party members before entering a dungeon sounds great. I checked the 'read me' file and the 'walkthrough', then started a new game to see if the answer was in 'Adventurer's Hall'. But nothing told me how to switch party members.
I was talking about Dravax. And now that I beat him, I no longer have a party. It sounds like all the ships are gone. So I can't swap anyway. I guess I'd get a blimp or something later on and could swap there.
