Ooh, that tree is beautiful! A real stunner.

For a brief moment, I thought you said Whomping Willow and I was like "you sure about that?"

Oh whoa! Three big assets on one day! Each one of these on their own would be great, altogether it is wonderful. The chain link fence would be great for a modern day and who could go wrong with a nice willow tree near a riverbank and a tent beside?

The willow tree is a huge thank you from me!! I can't get enough of trees and there never seems to be a big selection of different kinds.

That willow is lovely, but I have to say my favorite from today is the fences. It’s just so nice to be able to corral players into going a certain direction on a map without having to make a completely solid wall.

A close second is the tree. But my favourite is having a tileable tent so that I can have different sizes. That way the General is not cooped up in a mini-box like the lowliest grunt. Though maybe he should be?

Hey! I remember requesting a willow before! I'm so happy to have one finally! I'm gonna have to adjust my tileset (and maps) to make room for it!

The reindeers are superb, and they look really fluffy. I didnt plan to put in any mounts into my game but these reindeers ... hmmm ...

We are moving to morning releases because I need more sleep ;D
On Day 8 we have some fun things, so let us go right in!

First, @hiddenone released her Petitdevil sprite yesterday, and though my mystic powers I knew she had made that and had drawn a bust and emoset from scratch ready to go with it!



But no enemy without someone to take him down, and after we already have both the dads ready to battle, we needed the moms, too!


Fantasy and modern mom are here: ready to battle your heroes when they come home late after promising to be back at 10 or to stand up for them against the monsters that followed them home!

WOWOWOWOWOWWOOWO <3 Now I just MUST use the petitdevil character in my game.... with your bust and @hiddenone sprite it's gonna be amazing! I love his bust shading, he looks like he's little slimy or wet. Love it.

Battle of the moms! They both look ready to kick the hero son's ass.
And the Petit Devil bust is too adorable. :wub

I think I need to include a new skill in my project: Avery's Mind Reading. It can read the enemy's mind to see what they intend to do.

Great collaboration. And battling mum is there to stand up for mothers everywhere who have to deal with all the muck that heroes tramp into the house as well as their dubious companions.

Love the faceset and the battlers. Incredible work as always!

You always do such an incredible job on emosets, Avery. The petit devil set is no different from the Grade A that everyone has come to expect. Adding the SV battler moms is just, wow! So much work went into all of these. Simply incredible! And thank you.

We are already more than a third in, can you believe that?
Today on Day 9 we are looking at something that partly is a callback to earlier resources I made.
For my mermaid SV Battler I had to make the front hair and the ears, and I also had to make them for her sprite and her bust and her down... and well, it was still quite some work, but I decided to turn them into generator parts for those of you who want to use them on other characters as well!
Plus some roses for the hair, because why not?

Here is a generated character with all 3 things used

and here is what came out when I hit randomized until I had a character sporting one of the parts:

So whether it is a fin-eared cleric, a goofy yet fashionable fighter or a probably blind catgirl vampire, they all are now possible with those amazing parts!

You know how much I love the petit devil busts, but I’ll say it again: I love those busts, you got so many great emotions in that silly face! And sv battlers for the mom are great too, now I want to play a game where you play the hero’s mom and dad!

And those generator parts are incredible too, I love those fin ears! :kaoluv:

I always love more Generator parts. It gives you a lot more variety in making characters. Thanks again!

These generator parts are brilliantly done. I can think of all sorts of sarcastic remarks from other party members at the one who can't be bothered to get a proper haircut.

You can never have enough generator parts, I think the ears are especially good. I can imagine a whole species of Merfolk the heroes encounter.

Today at Day 10 we have the first SV Battler that I had made for the calendar - the Goddess!
I have to say, some of the default battler designs are a bit questionable, but I think she is really pretty. And she would make a great cleric or mage with angelic ancestry, too!
That is why I always wanted her to have an SV Battler, too, but there is a saying: If you want it done, do it yourself!
And since she has her default bust, her "emoset of an RTP Bust/face" is the only one that stayed in the character - there were more, but I released them earlier and swapped them for some of the things you saw already!
