  1. I love your descriptions every bit as much as I love your graphics LOL.
  2. GIVE ME ALL THE MODULAR STUFF! :D I've already made so many keys with your modular key icons, now I can make even more complicated keys and other things!
  3. I am happy that Christmas is almost here but sad that it will mean an end to this awesome Advent Calendar!
  4. Merry Christmas everybody!
Phew, what a year. I hope you all had a great advent and can rest for a little before 2022 hits us all. And of course I hope that this event made the season a little better for all of you, bringing some joy in those dark and cold (unless you live in the southern hemosphere) and stressful days. I know not all of you are christian and/or celebrate christmas, but for those who do, I hope you have a great festive celebration and people who care for you and just a good time! (For everyone else I wish the same, minus the actual christmas event)

Before we come to the actual resource, I would love some feedback and I would love to see those things in use. So if you have enjoyed this event, a few words what you liked most and maybe a screenshot of what you used in your actual projects would mean a lot to me!

    And here we go!
Who does not like castles? I surely do love visiting castles and so it was a pretty easy choice what to make for the finale.
There are few things as cool as seeing something on the world map and then being able to visit that place on a normal map as well, and so I rebuilt the worldmap castle as huge parallax image for all of you to use!

And for everyone who would rather build their own castle, I got your backs, folks!
All the tiles from the parallax plus some extra tiles and an animated gate are ready to be used!
Plus I left one version with both default colors (green and brownish walls) with blank flags, so you can add the heraldic features of your choice!

  5. What an absolutely fantastic Advent calendar!! Many thanks to you and your tireless work to deliver these beautiful creations, Avery!! Though everything is really fantastic and shows your dedication to detail/making useful resources, my personal favorites were the dragons (sprites, recolors, faces.. the whole lot!) and the dogs! Though the library is also one that really just wows!

AND I love your trend of rerecreating RTP world map tiles as huge buildings! The MV ones you did over the years were some of my faves and I love seeing the tradition continue with MZ!! Merry Christmas to you! Can't wait to see what the new year brings for you and your abilities! :D
  6. Merry Christmas @Avery !!!!!

Thank you so much for doing the advent calendar once again; it makes the season that much better!!!
  7. Merry Christmas, @Avery, and thanks for the wonderful surprises the past few weeks!

I don't have just one favorite but many: the large tree, the rolling pig, the emoticons, the books on stands (especially the sideways versions), and the modular jewelry, keys and charms!

I'm thinking of making a super blingy pet leash with a large jewel with those icons!
  8. Merry Christmas, frohe Weihnachten!

And thank you very, very much for all your beautiful assets. It's you and others like you that keep this wonderful hobby alive. Stay healthy and happy holidays to you all!
  9. Merry Christmas Avery! Thanks again for the tilesets. They look amazing!!
  10. Merry X-mas @Avery and everyone, I hope you had a great year and even if no, I hope the next one will be better or even better! Thank you for your work, everything is perfect.

    Awesome work! Really cool
  12. Merry Christmas to everyone and thanks a lot for the great resources you have provided Avery.
You did a fantastic work and one can see how much effort you put into the advent calender. :kaothx:
  13. Merry Christmas, Avery. These Advent calendar treats are so beautiful. Thank you so much for these treats. I am quite sure you work on these for months in advance and I want to tell you how much I, heck we all, appreciate it. I'll definitely begin post pics of how I'm using these wonderful assets soon after the holidays. Thank you again, Avery, for just, well, for just being you! :kaojoy:
  14. Wow...you saved the best for last! Avery, you are so amazing and generous even when it isn't Christmastime; the fact that you do this for the RPGM community is just incredible - thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. Merry Christmas!

And feel free to post your favourite combination in the thread here (I know, usually no repost, but I'd like to see which is your favourite!)
My favorite is definitely the bow collar; it's so cute! Well, here's my attempt at adding a key to that collar. I tried adding one of your keys (because they look awesome) but needed something small and I'm not sure there's a way to avoid blurring when resizing. I have to start somewhere though, right? This was fun to play with. Thanks for sharing so many goodies with us and Merry Christmas, Avery!

  16. Holy Crapolly!! What a wonderful BANG to end the Advent on!! Thank you so much for your contributions to this community @Avery ! Merry Christmas to you.
  17. Another fine tutorial to go with your typically fine artwork :)
  18. @Avery - The bridge looks great but I was wondering if you had a version without the grass that you could post so that we might be able to add in grass from a different tile set or maybe snow or desert tiles in its place?
  19. Outside_Bridge_Avery.png
Since I did never make this bridge modular, I had to edit it further to be able to put in the dirt and sand and for snow I had to kinda start over, that is why it is bent a little different on the top, but snow has a different wall and top stones, so that was necessary so it would not stand out...
Also I made snow and ground, as you cannot just drop a ground into the file, you need to bend it in roughly the right way and then add some light and shadow ;3

But yeah, I hope you find it useful and see you next year ;D
