Avy's Icon Workshop

Hi, I don't know if the workshop's still open or not, but I'll try.
if it's not too complicated, I'd need a violin icon, something like the picture but with some kind of magical aura around it.

I'd also need some kind of turtle, maybe on a shield or a circle.

Hey there. I'm not sure how to pose this question so I'll just say it. I need a couple food icons for our game. I'm using Avy's great icon set but I can't find some of the food items I need to fill out our item list. Currently the items, Tea and Pot of Tea, and Fruity Drink all use the Mug icon. The icons for Meal and Large Meal are both using the Burger icon, even though Large Meal is supposed to be more of a chicken dinner. Feast is using the Pizza Slice. Those are fine I guess, though it is supposed to be a more medieval fantasy game, but I suppose that doesn't matter so much.

My problem is trying to find icon's that I can fill those roles with. A tea cup, a pot of tea, some kind of chicken based food. I considered asking the artists at the DokuCraft group, as they have legitimately thousands of icons that could be used for stuff like this that are just being moth-balled cause the mods they were made fore are out of date or long dead. I've tried talking to them before regarding permission to use some of their icons but they were less than interested to work with me on that.

Do any of you here know of any other sources that would work for what I need? I've been looking around and can't find anything that really fits Avy's style other than DokuCraft's work.


Also, Avy, I believe I am due to share with you our game as per the terms of use for your icons. Please let me know how best to contact you for that. It's just the test build but there's atleast 20-30 hours worth of play time in it already, depending on how fast you play.

Recently, while I was looking for new icon materials in MV and MZ, I found a great icon on Avery's site.

This can be used freely and can be edited, but is it okay to use it in your own work in an edited state that mixes with the default icon of Tkuru?

Hi @Mateus_1022, by "tkuru" you mean Tsukuru - the RTP standard Icons?
Avery said that "You may edit these for your own use, but don't post them anywhere without my permission.", so I think it's okay if you do those edits just for your game.

Is this thread dead? Because I'm dying for a 32x32 sprite of a cupcake. Pretty please? Just a basic cupcake with vanilla frosting will do. I can edit on the sprinkles, fruit, and the colors myself. I just need a place to start. ;) Thanks!

I suggest going to Dokucraft, a Minecraft resource pack community and ask if one of them is willing to share one with you, as they have dozens of artists regularly making mod support tiles and icons. Someone there might be willing to work with you but I can't make any promises.

That's the thing. This isn't for a Minecraft mod, it's for RPG Maker. I appreciate your advice, but it's not what I'm looking for. Thanks anyway.

Oh, no no, they have spoken that their artists may be willing to work on icons for rpg maker. I spoke to them in the past and they said if they are asked, they may be able to accommodate. in the past I worked with one artist there and they produced some weapon icon for us. The cupcake shown here is just an example of one they had made.

I love your icon work and I've been following this post for years. Today it came to my mind that I had seen the fiber or cotton icon years ago, so I took on the task of reviewing the entire post thread to see if I could find it and I had no luck. I noticed that there were several broken image links and I would like to know if by pure chance you could share it or if I'm wrong could you create it please? :LZSsmile:

I have a question regarding usage, could I edit the weapon icons to make the battler weapons? Bascially, just rotate them slightly and shrink if necssary?

Hello Avery, I'd like to request some icons in your MV/MZ (own style, no RTP!) (32*32).
It's actually a resize of two of your exisiting 24x24 icons, namely the star (full) and star (empty) from the Biography part. (I'm already using your 32x32 hearts for health, and I'd like to use the stars for SP.)

Ooh, if you are open to requests still, I'm surprised I haven't seen any icons for gun scopes. I'm making a zombie game and I wanted to find at least a couple different scopes to equip as accessories.

I probably need to adjust my rules if they are not clear enough, but without a mention of the exact style (I have two different MV/MZ sized styles) and image and description per icon I cannot help.
In this thread I only take requests that I can immediatly do without further research or interviewing on my end.

I am so sorry, that's so my bad. I am working with MV, but don't worry about it. I just thought it was odd that I couldn't find any gun scope icons in the forums.

Could you please make a Bow and Arrow and/or a Two Headed Axe in this style? (Ripped from your MV/Z II 32x32 resources) Any other weapons (or a shield) you want to make in that style would also be appreciated, but those two are the most important to me.
