    Introduction:

    Let me introduce you, this is Rae and the character my themes are going to follow. So, be on the look out for her. 

    Literature

     In the faint breath of darkness lie the remnants of what was lost and forgotten. There, Mother Nature wraps her arms around the relics of an ancient technology. It is just beneath the earth surface hidden from all eyes of the once reining humanity.  The only sound that echoes across the rocky walls comes from delicate drips of water impacting any available surface.        Suddenly, a single pebble breaks and falls on one of the ancient machines. The impact erupts and explosion of blue lights from the strange device. Within moments the jungle of machine and nature lights up and reveals a large glass tube. Inside a humanoid creature rests peacefully on a bed of steal and foliage. Then the machine sends a ghostly liquid to a tube leading to the unconscious being. She slowly awakens from her slumber. Her eyes revealing a glowing blue. Within moments of her awakening the computer screen reads out the words. “I AM RA3” “I am Rae”.

    This is beautiful! :) I really love eyes and glow effect. And the branches look lovely as well.

    I was glad when I saw you had entered this animesock, as you (aswell as afew other entrants who joined) are some of my favourite artists on the forum.

    Sorry this a little late.

    From the cold depths of darkness a single breath is released. It is her. It is Rae. She examines the cold cave she finds herself imprisoned in. The cold metal she leans against is warmed by the strange blue wires that help to provide light around her body. Rae moves her lips, but is unable to produce sound, however these word now appear on the large monitor beside her. "I am Rae" "Rae" "Rae is cold" "Where?" Her sentences are short and it becomes harder to speak with each new and unfamiliar phrase. 

    Suddenly, another rock falls from the ceiling in front of the child like woman. She shudders in a slight fear that is accompanied by curiosity. The rock reveals a hole in the rocky roof revealing a bright light from the moon. It's air is warm like that of a crisp summer night leaks into the small room. Her body moves with out thinking causing blue wires to snap out of her being. Eyes wide and mouth gasped open the girl curiously tries to move closer and closer.

    I have been having a ton of trouble creating the themes in a story. I haven't enjoyed trying to just draw out scenes, but I have enjoyed the kind of abstract sketchy style I did with the last image and part of the first, and I might try and continue that. I even thought of just switching to just doing random images based on the theme rather than story. But I think I have it now. Be looking out for an image dump today of the stuff I've been working on. ^-^ This is kinda an update

     Crippling reds, aquatic blues, striking yellows, natures green and many other colors suddenly burst as the girl emerged from the teeth of the cave. Then when the beaming light hit Rae's robotic eyes fully, all she could see was color that fractured against the surroundings. It was as if she was seeing the raw light through a spinning prism. The data ran through her eyes and through her bodies veins of wire. It's strange sensation froze her in a fireworks show that seemed like it would never end.
