I kinda like the snow tiles with my regular tiles. For someone like me, it saves space. I don't want several different sheets of tile sets, I'd rather use a simple base that has most/all my needs. ? I'm not a fan of Doodad plugins or parallax mapping. It's a bit time consuming for my personal prefences. Maybe that was the logic of combining in the first place?

I am writing a paper for university atm and whenever I have enough I draw or pixel a little random stuff to switch my brain off for a while... and since I had this elsa sprite for so long I decided to make a matching face now :3 The hair is drawn from scratch, the rest are some quick edits^^

@Avery I think it would be pretty cool to have the same resources just with snow. And for the snowman... Maybe you can add a puddle? >:)

@chalkdust When I was in school learning about military stuff in Chicago, we had a huge storm over night. A bunch of colleagues ran out and built snowmen everywhere, cuz you know.. that's what you do. Well, our commanding officer was so pissed.. he called everyone out to muster in front of a snowman and legitimately asked us "What IS this?.. WHAT is THIS?!?.." until someone finally answered "It's a snowman Chief!!"


He responded with "WRONG!! It's a Snow CIVILIAN!! And has NO AUTHORIZATION to occupy this base!!"


Our punishment for making snowmen was that we had to take the day off from school to walk all around base and turn all the "Snow Civilians" into "Snow Sailors", complete with neckerchief and dixiecup hats.. ...yes. That is what american tax dollars will do for this country, ladies and gents. ;)

@AveryMaybe some icicles would be cool (no pun intendet). And some snowhills like dreadshadow said. Or some extra plants and winter flowers.


Oh, and thank's for the awesome calendar. I think I loved those animated objects the most. :)

For the crates, maybe remove the vegetables and leave them empty and frozen because there is no point of leaving them outside ^^


For the ivy-like stuff, maybe transforming them into boughs, covered by snow? ^^


As for the blank area... things that are opened/present in winter only, and leave them blank/closed version in the summer tileset?


like a roasted chestnuts stand, hot wine sellers, etc.

I have a suggestion. Have you tried consolidating the ship tiles for just the basic shape of a ship? (So it could be added to tilesets simpler) I imagine you have all the pieces necessary to have some kind of 4x6 tile size ship rather than a much taller longer one. 

A little something to calm me down and to hopefully make some of you happy :)


It is just a small detail for a little more life and athmosphere, but I love how it turned out.

Avery, I missed seeing the Advent releases day by day since I've been offline for a while, but WOW! I'm so impressed by all of your newer resources. My favorite has to be that upscaled square stone tower (It's going to be wonderful for my project). Really smooth and well done, like all of your resources. My selfish request for any inspiration droughts would be the rest of the world map towers upscaled for scene-setting / parallexing.

I probably should've just sticked to the parts.


Anyway!


This was my calm down via several nights with barely no sleep, freaking out because of my group projects partners, being totally desparte and close to a total break down.


Every horse comes with two types of tack and a blank version:



Also, there are two mane styles for each one:



This is a larger horse than default, so it should work well for riding additions :3 I used the RTP horse as base and adjusted the parts until I was satified.

WOW! Those horses are stellar. And so many variations! Woooie, man do I need to figure out how to get them in my game. Great work!!

My goodness, I absolutely despise group projects. There's nothing fun about carrying dead weight. You have my sympathies.

As always, Avery, your work is magnificent. Well done. :)  


Have to love Great Lakes. I think my favorite was being stationed there and having Duty Driver on my duty days. I was a Third Class at the time, so whenever I dropped people off across the street at church, there was the inevitable boot that would confuse the crow for a full bird. Can't tell you how many salutes I got. ;)  

What happened? Do you mean college project? I know this feeling. :(

@Avery, I noticed none of your beautiful horses had Unicorn Horns or Pegasus Wings.. ;) Wink Wink. Hehe.
