Mermaid character!! Alright!! Great work @Avery. It's all very appreciated. :) I am using a LOT of this in my current/main project!! I wish I were at the point of screenshots, but I am just now almost done organizing my IMG folder and about to start my Database. Let's just say, its a serious/not so serious/heavily Final Fantasy original based project. :)

When it comes to your work, it really feels like being unfair to the other resources you made.


But hey, this is my favorite, because I believe it can be used on any setting and it fits on any game on such a setting smoothly!

WOW! That mermaid is AMAZING!


I made a custom script (actually an edit of Yanfly's region restrictions script) for swimming characters/creatures that uses the bush depth mechanic to give the appearance of being partially or completely submerged underwater. It's going to work BEAUTIFULLY with that mermaid.


Actually, ya know what...? Rather than just tell you about it........ here we go!

Better late then never i managed to finish the belly dancer within the MV+ Style, had to repixel alot and i didnt found the time to do it earlier.

Btw. a faceset for the character would be great if it doesn't already exist :)


Since i will use it commercialy the free copy is already save for you :D  But it will probably take me at least 1 or 2 more years to finish the game :(

I really like those cat sprites. They're exactly what I needed to resurrect a long-dead project of mine. May I please use them? Additionally, I'll let you know when I publish the demo and final versions of my game. Thank you! :3

Mostly I just had to force myself to keep it small - if something seemed like it took to long I did something else and finished it on another when I had enough time. And I had some spare resources and wips that helped me filling every door ;3

Soooo, I need some opinions:


This is what I am working on at the moment. I never understood why they mixed winter and normal tiles in the Outside sheets and so I started seperating snowy and non snowy tiles and add snow to all only non-snowy ones anc vice versa. Now you see that there is a small area that is covered by neither of them, so here is the question:


What shall be added there?


And: shall I remove the cactus and palm and rafflesia as well and add other tiles that make more sense to get a snowy version as well?


And: What is a non-snowy version for a snowman?


The plan is that in the end you can change the season of the area by just changing the tileset :)


As you can see I already added a bunch of winter tiles to the set that weren't there at the beginning.

I've struggled with these same questions because I've already done full swappable seasonal sets for my project.


What shall be added there?


It works really well if you condense the swappable stuff from both Outside_B and Outside_C. Mine also adds PandaMaru's trees and outdoor market stalls (which is why I can't share the whole sheets publicly). There are also some tiles in the dungeon tilesets that can be useful in the overworld map.

In my opinion, yes! These swappable sets are most useful if the whole sheet is swappable. Other non-swappable elements like desert stuff should have their own separate sheet.


And: What is a non-snowy version for a snowman?


Leave it blank. It's actually kind of cool to see him pop up where there was nothing before.


Here are a few custom pieces I made for my set. You're free to use them if you want (though I'm certain you could do much better), no credit needed.

Snowman-----→Animal Bush (bear)? :D

Maybe small snowhills, a shovel on snow, just a few thoughts.
