Your favorite soundtracks to casually listen to.

I think video game music is what I listen to the most.
What I'm listening to at the moment is Octopath traveler's ost.
What never leaves my playlist is bravely default's entire ost. Crypt of the necrodancer is awesome too. Especially the remix by familyjules, aria awakened.
There's also but much more infrequently shantae's ost and shovel knight's ost.
Also the soundtrack to vvvvvvv and its metal cover by familyjules mmmmmm.

You can add any music by nobuo uematsu in that list, but mostly from the ff titles I have played. His brief incursion into metal with the black mages produced some of my favourite scores, especially dancing mad.

When I'm not listening to that it's mostly movie music, or music I've heard during movies (like the songs featured in the guardians of the galaxy).

As for non movie and vodeo game music, I've been listening to Queen a lot lately, and going to see Bohemian Rhapsody did not help.
Scorpions deserves a mention too.

And if anyone here is a fan of video game music too, you owe it to yourself to listen to Smooth Mc Groove. He makes acapella music that's really impressive. His rendition of guiles' theme from street fighter is his most known work and it's brilliant.

"Weird Al" is probably the reason I deviated from mainstream media and went to listen to *things other that what everybody listens to*.

Hmmm BGM soundtracks of Ragnarok Online

Two game soundtracks I often go back to are Baten Kaitos and Chrono Trigger. Apart from that, I usually like the SoulOfTheWind piano compilations, Adrian Von Ziegler, the local classical radio channel, and Cat Trumpet piano covers. Anything with pianos or fiddles has to work pretty hard to make me dislike it lol.

Dark Souls 3 and Bloodborne have pretty nice soundtrack in my opinion :)
