Since modified gear gets treated as independent items and are given a new slot in the database when spawned in game, it's not likely. @Victor Sant 's Materia System has a plugin command that can force equip materia into item slots. But it has to be an item that is already equipped to your actor.

It wassnt what i was looking for but it did help me in knowing what i want from such plugins. And did find that so you bin helpful.
