What I want is for my augments to change a specific variable when equipped to a specific piece of equipment. I'm trying to do it though a Common Event. What I think I need is statement that checks to see if the augment is attached to the equipment or not, and if so, to change the variable. However, after two hours of staring down the plug-in code, I can't figure out the call I need to use. Can someone more familiar with this plug-in/better at js help me out?
EDIT
After staring at the code a little longer, I came up with this gibberish:
if ($gameActors.actor[5].armor.include?($dataArmors[5]))
{ItemManager.checkAugmemtSlots($dataArmors[5]);
if ($dataArmors.armor[5].augmentSlotItems.include?($dataItems[5])
{$gameVariables[1]+=1}
};
Of course, I don't really know js that well, if that isn't clear, but am I on to something?
EDIT:
Intead of trying to do it through a common event, I tried putting the script in <Augment Attach Eval>

I haven't come up with any more brilliant ideas. Help still wanted. Please?

After browsing through the forums, I came up with this:
<Augment Attach Eval: Quartz>
var actor = $gameActors.actor[3];
var item = $dataArmors[5];
var cond = actor.equips().some(function(equip) { equip == item });
if (cond) {
$gameVariables.setValue(1,1);}
</Augment Attach Eval: Quartz>
Still not working though. Thoughts?
