  1. This is my first time using RMXP. I'm looking for honest feedback, bugs, and overall opinion. When you reach the second part of the castle, there's a system event that'll prevent movement forward to another map. That's as far as I've gotten.

    Slumpy's Shootout

Reality is based on the person who perceives it.

    Synopsis:
T.J. is an ignorant factory worker that discovers the world is not what it was when he last saw it. In order for him to get back home, he'll need the help of a mysterious stranger to save the world in which T.J. is currently confined.

    Characters:

    T.J.
??? (Name will be revealed in game)

*Sobs in corner, realising game idea is not unique*

    Any screenies though? :D
  3. Screenies:

    Deserted Bar:

  4. I can see you are new to XP.

In the opening area, your ceiling tile surrounding the area with the wine bottles could be a tile wider, and it needs its wall tile, otherwise you've got some weirdness with the perspective. With the deserted bar, that tile you are spreading everywhere is supposed to be used for shadows, and it isn't something you are supposed to plop everywhere. Find the right tile for that room.

Generally, your indoor maps are too big for their own good. You have too much empty space that you aren't utilizing, and as a result it looks barren and completely boring to look at.
  5. @Ratty

Thanks for the advice. I'm not a big design person so I know that they kinda suck that's why I was looking for feedback so thank you for being one of the first. Also, yes I'm a noob with game dev. However, I've been trying to do my best and I'm rather proud with what I have been able to accomplish thus far, especially in a team of one.

I appreciate the feedback and would love to hear more if at all possible.
  6. *UPDATE*
    Hey all!

I just got to the end of the story and making all the events for it. I have a few more things I want to tweak before I set it out for beta. I hope you all have enjoyed the demo and would still like to hear opinions about how the game goes.

Thanks again for your support on my first game!
