will this run if your processor doesn't reach the minimum? My processor says 1.40 GHz, I have no idea how to upgrade a processor, and I can't get a new computer right now. I don't mind if it lags a lot but I don't wanna waste money on a program I can't use. I got vx yesterday but i've heard ace is better

edit: it works fine, I don't understand why vx ace says it has such a high minimum for the processor

So you're asking if Ace will run on it? Im pretty sure my older laptop which has Ace had a similar processor.. Also, I think if it can run VX fine, Ace shouldnt be any problem (coz Ace is just really VX with more features).. If you're going for MV though, I'm not sure.

It will run. It just, will not run smoothly. i.e, you might not get 60 fps all times. I believe most of apps/game minimum spec is to ensure the intended minimum experience. It's if below the minimum spec, if you got some experience problem, there you have it.

For example, Fallout 4 minimum RAM is 8 GB, but I run it in 4 GB, it worked fine, except after 1-2 hours into the game, cache will build up and the game is started to get lag. For this case, you will experience lags more often than people who have stronger processor. If you can bear with it, then go.

Different makers have different requirements, and we would be able to give a better answer if we knew which program you're referring to.

Ace and MV both have trials. Just download the one you're interested in from the web store here and give it a go. Easy enough to see how well it runs without spending any money. I think if VX runs okay, Ace will also run okay. They're not that different.
