    Why hello, people...

    I'm quite new to RPG Maker and game design in general, although I am highly interested in both.

    I am an absolute noob when it comes to programming and coding however, I hope to get better I guess......

    Hello dere!

    Welcome to the RPG maker community! Not sure how I would be able to give any advice because I picked up all my bag "o"tricks when playing with the software. The more you start playing with game creation, the better you will get and you might pick up your own style all together.

    When I started out, my games were dirt terrible but now they are much better and are actually playable so don't be discouraged if you hit a wall every now and again. xD

    Welcome to the group! ^_^

    Like he said, play around with it and experiment, you'll have fun and develop your own tricks. However, don't be afraid to ask for help when you need it, that is what the community is for!
