Christmas comes early this year and I've got one doozy of a present for everyone here. I noticed when looking at the default resources in MV that there was an unusually small amount of animals--a smaller amount then most of the other RPG makers, and that will simply not do. I took a look at every other RPG maker's animals and I decided to remake them all for MV. I then also added some new animals that I felt like should be givens for any typical game. I tried to keep them faithful to the MV style, and there are a few I'm not completely satisfied with, and I will try and fix when I can. Current count of unique animal sprites: 50+ (s-so many!)I was also given a suggestion by Skysurfer about running horses. I was not going to do that at first but then I said "challange excepted" and well now we have running horses. (again trying to keep to the MV style) DISCLAIMER: the running horse animation IS 4 frames, so you will either need a plugin for extra frames or you will need to use some other method of using 4 frames in your animations, but it should be usable. Apologies that I could not bring it down to the default three frames, I really did try! But it just was not working like I wanted it to. Alternatively, they can be used in RPG maker XP. For the sake of information, the frames are 64x57, slightly bigger then the original sprite. Terms: As these are (mostly) edits of MV's sprites, you will need a legal copy of RPG maker MV, otherwise~~ Credit is appreciated, but not required. They are free to use for commercial or non commercial. You are free to edit, change, recolor, re-edit, remix, maim, mangle, add on, divide, and conquer to your heart's content. Spoiler Saddle horses with small side bags Running horses, one without anything, one with my saddle, one with the saddlebags, and one decorated from another post of mine found here under "general festival things" sample of the decorated horse animation: For the sake of completion, Here's an extra bonus sprite of a knight riding a running horse Donkeys black and white horses both walking and running ponies: so many horse recolors they had to have their own spoiler, both walking and running: Spoiler solid color/plain horses: alt recolors of the default: alt horse patterns and types painted horses: Camels, both with one and two humps~! Complete with saddles-now with sitting! and various colors Farm animals Consists of the cow, bull, pig, goat, sheep, giant chickens, and baby chicks Spoiler Cows: Bulls Pigs: goats: sheep: Giant Chickens: These guys where made because I needed a large chicken sprite for the cockatrice sprite, and decided to just roll with these as their own sprites: baby chickens/chicks Wild Animals Contains a large cat, tiger, lion, raccoon, fox, bunnies, bears, bear cubs, pandas, buffalo/bison, wild pig/boar musk ox, wolf/dog, jackals/wild dogs, badger, armadillo, hippos, goose, swimming geese, duck, loons, baby ducks, seagull, ostrich, giraffe, moose, reindeer, yak, mountain goats, beavers, penguins, monkeys, and snow monkeys. So, I decided to try making SV battlers for some of the animals. Here's the first baby dragon for starters. I'm not super-great at animating sprites, but I think this little guy came out good! Feel free to use or modify him as you wish~!

NOTE: Due to being a 4-legged animal, his animations are not compatible with "human" weapons. (He has no hands to use them with after all. :p ) Therefore, his "missile", "thrust", and "swing" animations are simply some different skill gestures. Make sure to use blank weapons graphics with him or it will look really weird. ;D

Hey guys!Sorry I wasn't here this days,but I was a little busy.Here I made 2 types of dragons,choose which type you like more. :)

I used a lil glow effect on the last 2 dragons.

I would work harder to fix some things I do not like,but I just simply do not have enough time,so I have to stop working for a wile,but soon as I have some free time,I'll be here with some updates.

Thanks for the encouragement! It may take a few days to perfect everything, so here's an early preview of the gold-horned unicorn's "ready" animation in the meanwhile~! :D

you know what I almost started doing that kind of animation (including them bending down to eat grass) back when I first did the running horse, but I decided against it because that ment having to do more recolors and edits down the line., and figured if someone REALLY wanted the animations bad enough they'd do it. lol not counting the unicorns, I have somewhere in the neighborhood of 20ish different recolors of horses, each with walking and running animations, so you can kind of see why I opted against it lol

Haha, no kidding! To be honest, I'm not sure I have the time for ALL the recolors, so I'm just focusing on the main colors for now. If I have the time, I'll modify the animations to match the variants later.

hey don't sweat it /o w o/ just do what you want and feel like and someone else will probably come in and fill in the blanks down the line~ it's why I've released the animals completely free for public use u w o~ 'cause I know when you give a whole community free access to something, you're gonna encourage more creations and add ons, especially when it comes to the default stuff.

Are we allowed to post edits and addons like new animals and stuff here to contribute to the topic? Or nah? I'd love to help out and just post here instead of starting a totally new topic that I'll probably only update once a month. I'm working on a bunch of stuff but sometimes I need to work on other stuff to take a break. I have a few ideas for more fantasy type animals that I'd love to add to the topic. I've noticed a few people adding stuff but I figure I should ask first just to be 100% sure. Thank you for your time.

it's up to you o w o/ if you wanna post more edits and addons here you're free to do so, or you can post your own. I dunno what I'm going to do about contributions per say when it comes to my main post though, I'm not sure if I should repost them to my main post or just remind everyone else that there's other addons and edits in the thread. We'll just make it up as we go along I guess \o 3 o/~ until then you're free to post additions

Ammmms... I have a little problem with the "running horses", I can't use their sprites... I tried modify in gimp but i don't know do it :S I need help I'm desperate TwT
