Where the hell is gradients.png?

I am a Mac User and have been trying to find the gradients.png file for customization purposes a while now, but it doesn't seem to be anywhere! It doesn't show up in the steam files nor in the actual game files, and searching for it has yielded no results so far. The only file that pops up when searching 'gradients' within any of MV's related folders is a .js file titled 'pixi' and I doubt it's going to help me customize the colors.

Mine is in the Generator folder.
I don't know the filepath for Mac, but on Windows that's steamapps/RPG Maker MV/Generator

this is a result of how the MacOS handles apps.
What you see on your computer as an app-file is in reality a folder containing the true app and any data it needs.
Because the character generator is a subpart of the editor itself, all of its files (including the gradients file) are hidden inside the app folder.

MacOS has a key to override this mechanism, but I don't remember which one it is - if you press this key while clicking on the app, you'll get the choice of either starting the app or opening the app folder.
Please search Mac Help for "how to open the app folder" or something like that to find out how to get there.
