What's better than RPG Maker

    Some people have tried all sorts of game engines. For others, RM might be their first one.

    What are some tools that are better than RPG Maker that those who are interested in game development, and like RM, can look into?

    And what makes them better than RM?

    There are currently no other engines better than RPG Maker in the 2-D industry. Game Maker is better for games unrelated to RPGs.

    Although your question is valid, this is the official forum for the RPG Maker series. I think it's best we avoid types of discussions that promote our direct competitors.
