When I was a kid my only source of inspiration was my father. I saw him as an immortal hero and I wanted to be like him, everything he did was for me a sort of inspiration for my dreams and my future projections. He's a simple appliance technician but I never stopped admiring him for what he was able to achieve (he started from having absolutely nothing).
I'm a head waiter now and I changed a lot of jobs in my life, but I would've liked to be a pilot too, to see the world from above and be able to move in ways you can't when you're stuck on the ground.
Mountain Rescue, Lifeguard (Done that one!), Pilot, Paramedic, Actor, Singer, Game Designer (Working on that one), Someone who doesn't have to work (Still dreamin of that one).
When I was really little I wanted to be a meteorologist. I loved everything about the weather. Looking back. I'd still not mind being a meteorologist but I suppose life steered me elsewhere. Nowadays I still tell people way too many facts about the weather and I keep The Weather Channel on for comfort, which actually, everyone in my immediate family does. Actually, my parents were both pilots so that's where our obsession with the weather comes from.
I've realized two of them, and I no longer care for the others. I'm pretty happy with that :D But I don't see that as the end of my dreams; now I'm searching for new horizons as I live doing what I love to do in this moment in time.
Uh, I mean... A published author for a long time. And still today. Game developer since mid-teens. I don't see myself going professionally with that, even as an indie developer. But I still enjoy my "gaem make" time. I once thought of writing and drawing a comic, but I don't really read them that much. *shrugs*
A programmer who works some kind of company that I would likely be a CEO of.
In a case I gain enough funds for that, I would definitely like to be a boss of some kind of game developing company even though I'm technically "retired."
Although I consider to have a some simpler company like a place where people can come to eat good food.
I wanted to be a doctor (neurosurgeon exactly) but as with most things money was a big issue at the time I wanted to go to college. I wanted to become one to help my dad because he is suffering the effects of post-polio syndrome and I wanted to find a "cure" for people who suffer because of it.
I eventually came to terms with it wasn't going to happen and started working with computers. Have been doing computer work for over 15 years.
