  1. Heya everyone!

So! We all have computers out there of course so! What sound does your computer make? Or what sounds has your computer made? Orrrrr what sound has your old computers in the past made? in terms of (it shouldn't be making that sound)  I'll start us off

The fan to my old computer sounds like two possums fighting khihhhdhdhfghgtrbvefuvreuvrbrbfdivofuisnfnovnfdsovu O.O Crazy crazy.
  2. This is a rather interesting topic o.o

    It goes like...

    Hssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss

The volume varies depending on how resource-intensive what I am doing, is.

Your possum-fighting sound doesn't sound quite right, though!
  3. Mine does a really silent:

    MMmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

If I overclock my Graphiccard to maximum it sounds like:

    FFFFFFuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

    Pretty loud then. :p
    But fast too. :D (\s/)
  4. Right now mine is going:

hhhhhhhhhhhh but only the start of when you say the letter h. xD

But yeah Overclocking is like o.o aaww shivers it's gonna blow! xD

Yep shortly after it stopped working. xD now it makes no sound! Annnnd won't turn on. But this computer is great.
  5. Usually my laptop is pretty silent, especially since the room is usually cold, but if it get a little warm, it will let out a standard whhhhrrrrrrllll kind of sound. It loops too.
  6. bleh kinda silencious to! only making a little sound when I use a lot of perfomance in my computer

(strangely minecraft use a lot of perfomance xD)
  7. Mine makes a loud whhhiiiirrrrllllll sound for like 5 seconds and then it is silent as if there is nothing running in it for the rest of the day, I always clean my PC every 2nd month and make sure the fan bearings are in good condition.
  8. A hair dryer, a vacuum cleaner, an engine, a motorcycle, an airplane, a helicopter and a dying spaceship.

All of these but only because I changed a lot of computers during my life and I usually had problems with fans and dust.

I remember that some of the fans were even louder than my computer speakers, it was hilarious...and funny thing is that if you notice in my profile my latest status update was about the dust in my current PC (that luckily for me is pretty silent). :)

  10. @Dalph :

How do you know what a dying spaceship sounds like in the first place....

*takes a look at name & avatar again*

    .....nevermind.....
  11. Krrrrrrrrakskrakskrakskrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrkrakskraks (As if there were lil mice inside gnawing on the components.)

    It is pretty silent though.
  12. my pc sound is not so interesting but the one of my dvd drive

    it goes like:

    tschüüüüüü...tchakatchakatckaka.tschüüüüüü...tschakatchakasurrrr

and then the disk opens ^^
  13. It makes this sound quietly :

    Vvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvtzzztttzzzzzvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvwwwwwwww

    The disk tray :

    tchtchtchtzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzpffffffzzzzzzzfffff
  14. This is hysterical.

For the most part mine is pretty quiet. It kind of has this contest very low sound almost like a heart beat. An irregular one though, lol. As I'm sitting here thinking about it, I realize it's kind of a nice sound, one I've grown used to.

The only really odd sound it makes is for some reason sometimes when I use the scroll button on the mouse, it is picked up through the speakers as a loud static noise. Go figure.
  15. My new computer's actually quiet.  However my old computer sounded like someone was putting it in a blender:

    WWHHIIIIIIIIIIIRRRRRRRRZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzZZZZZZZZZZClackCrunchWUBWUBWUBVVZZZZZZZCrunchCrunchScreechWWHHIIIII- *silence*

Of course, the silence was only because it shut itself down.  :stare:
  16. A fairly steady pitch fan noise.  Using an SSD system drive gets rid of hard drive whirring and clacking noises, so all I hear are the cooling fans.

My main drive is an SSD, but I have a secondary hard drive to store large files on. I'll say that you don't notice how loud a hdd is until you only here it come on occasionally. Sometimes it startles me when it spins up.
  18. I've had my laptop for a while. Sometimes it goes, mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, when I play a RM game it goes WHOOooooommmmmmmmmmmm, when I use a very intensve program it goes, WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA. But starting it up goes, ZOOOOMmmmmm. (whispers *Zoom* *Zoom*)
  19. So many interesting computers :3 xD
  20. The sound mine makes when I boot it up is "Hello. Smithers. You're. Quite. Good. At. Turning. Me. On."
