  1. Quite simple really. What makes a good logo? Do you like it clean? Do you like it kinda tribal (Seems like that'll never go out of style)? Plain text or perhaps within an image that ties into the game (Crest, Sigil, etc)

Also, if you have examples of logos you just find good, please share them. Me and my artist aren't really having a 'debate' persay, but we are kind of at a crossroads and I knew you guys may have an opinion.
  2. I love the logos for a lot of the final fantasy games (think like, final fantasy X-2), where within the pretty swoops and colours are silhouettes of the characters, or an important plot symbol. or whatever. if that makes sense? I think it's pretty rad when a game logo ties into the actual game content somehow, anyway.
  3. I actually agree with you wholeheartedly. I think it's really cool to see a neatly designed sigil or crest or silhouette, not knowing what it is, then playing for a while, saving, returning to your game later on and recognizing it as something you've explored within the game.
  4. yeah, exactly! I always really enjoy that moment of "oh hey, that's X!". not that there's anything wrong with a logo that's just the title of the game in a ~dramatic font~ or anything, but there's something awesome about making the logo sort of a continuation of the game experience
