What is the difference between Khas Advanced and Ultra lighting?

  1. What is the difference between Khas Advanced and Ultra lighting?

    I am using the default tileset for my game and I want to spice it up a bit.
    I would like to know what is the difference between the Khas advanced and ultra
    lighting plugins. The page itself does not give enough info.
  2. @OfficialBoiiste In a nutshell:

    Advanced - Lighting without shadow effects (And less graphically intense).

    Ultra - Lighting with shadow effects so it gives the illusion that there are actually walls. Also can make any caves look visually appealing.

    I use ultra myself.

    Which would you recommend for a cyberpunk game? I want the game
    to have certain lights around that makes the game shy away the default tileset.
  4. @OfficialBoiiste I'd recommend Ultra, as I am making a sci-fi/fantasy game myself. Actually, anything that falls under science fiction would look good with Ultra in my honest opinion.

    In fact, you can make something like this with the default assets, provided you can map and work around the plugin with decent knowledge (disclaimer: The character and terminal are my customized assets. The rectangular objects latched towards the wall on the far right are also custom).

  5. There is an other difference that should be mentioned: one Version is older and free to use, the other Version is better but needs to be purchased in the shop of this Website.
