  1. What do you do for work? I'm a personal shopper! (Seriously)
  2. Head Waiter, but I work only in the mornings however.

I welcome guests in the hotel, take reservations and stuff and assign tables to them, while being also in charge of the other waiters.

You need to be talkative and professional, appearance is also very important (to give good impression of the place).
  3. Cool, sounds like you really enjoy your job Dalph.  :)
  4. Freelance, I suppose. I'm a student at the moment however, so no time for a full-time job.

    Student? Whatcha studyin?
  6. I'm working for the summer in the meat store, I'm basically packing meat. XD I have to deal with really annoying costumers on daily basis though. Sometimes I feel like they come to the store with the intension of starting some kind of a war. It's a REALLY busy place though and they probably just get annoyed that they have to stay in line for couple minutes. :) But overall I'm an animation student, and when summer is going to finish I'll start looking for something part time, not sure what yet.
  7. @Bukarett I don't think there is any job that isn't important in some way, and I bet you're the best meat packer there.

Don't worry it's only temporary, from your battlers iv'e seen you won't be there long, you'll definitely find something in animation sooner or later, i'm sure of it. Just persist and it'll work out.  :)
  8. I'm the Lord High Constable of the Royal Army... not really. I'm currently unemployed, but am hoping to start helping out at my local funeral home in the near future.
  9. Sounds like a DEAD end job  :guffaw:

Just kidding. Great you've got somethin lined up, hope you get it.

Thx, I'm actually not looking at anything to do with animation at the moment, I want to finish and build my portfolio first. :) Thank you, :D and I'm horrible at meat packing there XD but I did got off earlier today! Booya!
  11. I'm the community manager for RPG Maker Web. But I think everyone already knew that. :B

(Really, I just wanted to post in this thread to say: Who is your daddy, and what does he do?)
  12. I'm a freelance pixel artist. I've mostly done artwork for small independent games.
  13. Call Centre agent. I listen to people complain about their online shopping.

It is very tempting to say "Excuse me Mmr/Mrs/Miss (insert name here) but did you know that about 10 years ago there was this strange thing that people did? Well, it was called 'getting of their lazy asses and going to the store themselves'. Maybe you ought to try that" or "Oh, I'm very sorry you have recieved short dated items. How many days life are on them? 5? Well, maybe you should invest in a freezer"

People complain about everything. It's very annoying. Totally need a more exciting job!
  14. For the past 6 years, basically the only job I've had, has been working at a grocery store - first as a bagger, and then stocking shelves. My last day there is tomorrow.

The next job I'll be doing is embossing images for products, something that's 50/50 of what I went to school for, since they need someone with experience in Illustrator (I got that) and a CAD program (I don't got that). Full time, awesome pay (for an entry-level job), and benefits; I'd say I'm off to a good start. The really cool thing though is I'll be flying out to England at the end of this month and living there till the end of July training on the job. Interesting times ahead.

Yeah tell me about it. Anything customers don't like about the store i'm in, I get the blame. To expensive, my fault. Can't find what they want, my fault.  D:<  (sigh)

I wouldn't exactly call it a dream job as I nearly passed up on the job when I was first contacted about it and it's a much different job field than the ones I was applying for. Still though, if everything turns out well, it may very well be a dream job.
  18. I'm a graduate student who works at gamestop.
  19. My dream job is to be paid good money to make pretzels all day. Unfortunately, I doubt this will ever happen, so I have to do things that make more money but have more stress :p .
  20. @KingDanner: Probably not. I did most of the original art for Liberated Pixel Cup if you've ever heard of that.
