  1. Hi,

    So I just found my good ol' GBA,so I was curious about what are your favourite games...

    Mine are Megaman Zero and Golden Sun 1 & 2
  2. Back when I had the GBA SP, cause I don't know if SP is different, I was a big sonic the hedgehog fan, so I got all these 'sonic advance & sonic battles' games.

    If I were older at the time, I would've probably chose something different to worship.
  3. @Mirpono : Sonic The Hedgehog ? i'll try that.
  4. My favorite has to be Final Fantasy 6 Advance. Yeah, the music sounds a bit worse, but they added more content to it and cleaned up the translation.

    Also the Fire Emblem games.
  5. I really loved the Megaman Battle Network games (1, 2, & 3), but probably my favorite GBA game of all time is Castlevania: Circle of the Moon. Great remixed tracks, along with a few new originals, difficult gameplay, and a slew of cards to collect and different attacks to use. Really wish they made a sequel to this great game. =P
  6. Super Mario Advance 3: Yoshi's Island. While not a GBA exclusive, it's the perfect edition of the game :D
  7. @TheTonyOne : I forgot to mention Final Fantasy 6 Advance I got that too.And it's awesome ! Fire Emblem ? never heard about that.

    @Clydous : I'll try that.

    @Galenmereth : Tried Super Mario Advance 3 years ago.I'll check Yoshi's Island.

    I'm now playing Zelda : The Minish Cap.It's awesome !
  8. I will be going with Advance Wars 2. That game kept me busy for yeeears... at least until I got my hands on Advance Wars: Dual Strike.

    Wow, upon realizing, I didn't play a lot of GBA games...
  9. @Jaymonius : It looks like it's an addictive game.I'll check it out.
  10. Everything was almost said above, Minish Cap, Fair Emblem, Yoshi's Island, Sonic Advance...

    Ah, I really LOVE Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga, because 13 out of 14 of the Mario RPGs I can think of are AWESOME.

    (Unless Paper Mario: Sticker Star doesn't count as an RPG, then it would be 13 out of 13.)

    Then there is Mario Golf: Advance tour, when I tell this to most people they are like 'eww, golf is boring.' but is's arguably the best Mario sports series ever with mixed RPG elements added.
  11. Super Robot Taisen: Original Generations 1 and 2 got western releases, and  I really like them, too.
  12. Mega Man Battle Network series (I can't pick a favorite)

    Metroid Zero Mission

    Final Fantasy Tactics Advance
  13. @Seacliff : I have Zelda : The Minish Cap,it's awesome.About the Super-Mario,i'll check it out.

    @TheTonyOne : I'll try them.

    @Probotector 200X : I'll see if I can try them all.

  14. Golden Sun 1 and Fire Emblem. And probably FF6 Advance too.
  15. @Luchino : I'm playing Golden Sun 1 it's one of the best RPGs.Looks like everybody like Fire Emblem.And FF6 Advance too
  16. Megaman Battle Network series.

    Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow

    Mario Golf: Advance Tour
  17. The Megaman Zero games were sooooooooo frickin' hard. I didn't even bother with the third/fourth one. The first two essentially punish you if you're not an ace player... "You suck, so you don't get this boss's weapon, 'kay?" Umm... totally counterproductive, I NEED that weapon so I DON'T suck, HELLOOOOO!! :headshake:

    Yeah, I'll jump on the Mario Golf bandwagon.

    And FF6A. I played that quite a bit with my nephew on the Game Boy Player (GameCube). We had some great times!
    I enjoyed FF5A as well. It's an awful shame FF4A was rushed for the 2005 holiday season and turned out such a mess...

    FFTA as well. That's another one I played with my nephew just a bit. Collaborating to develop our clan added a whole new dimension to the game, it was awesome.

    At first, I wasn't impressed with Sword of Mana, but in retrospect it was cool to have a handheld Seiken Densetsu title (yes I know FFA was the original, but I never owned that). The only thing is that it was rather easy; I'm fairly certain I beat the game without even upgrading my equipment once (by the way, why couldn't you just BUY a new sword instead of having to forge it from vegetables you grow in the garden!?).

    Metroid Fusion and Zero Mission. I played the latter so much I literally got sick of it (got all the endings, though, phew it was tough). I still think Fusion's story is absolutely awesome, especially when

    Spoiler
    Adam tells Samus to set the colony's course to intercept planet SR388; the way her eyes pop is just WOW, and the music, WOW. They did a really great job on that one, just fantastic!
  18. Sword of Mana is a remake of FFA, actually.

    Edit: Sorry, didn't read the full post.
  19. On top of being legitimately fun, Mario Golf: Advance Tour was one of the best looking games on the GBA.
  20. Also, I totally forgot about Kirby & The Amazing Mirror. Kirby + Metroid = Awesome.

    That last boss was nuts. It had what, five forms?
