Introduction

Weekly Art Challenge is a recurring event for the Art, Literature and Music forum wherein there is a new challenge for artists every week. The goal of the event is to encourage art and going outside the box by imposing interesting challenges and limitations. After a week, a poll will be up for everyone to vote to select the best entry. The winner with the most votes will receive a pretty little badge for bragging rights.

Rules

• A new challenge/theme will be posted up in a new thread every week.
• Participants are to follow the rules imposed by the challenge/theme. Any questions may be asked. However, I reserve the right to disqualify any entries that I feel do not meet the criterion.
• A challenge lasts for approximately a week. Deadline for all Weekly Challenges is strictly at 12:00AM, GMT +0, on Monday.
• On the week after, a poll will be up in the same thread. Only one entry will win. In the case where there are more than one winning entry with equal votes, all winning entries will be rewarded.
• Poll for voting will be available from the submission deadline to Saturday, when the winner will be announced.
• The winner gets to call the theme/challenge for the following week. If the winner does not wish to do so, then I will come up with one.
• All forms of art are welcome.
• No need to register. Just start working on your entry right away if you've decided to participate.
• Post your entries in this thread. WIPs are encouraged, but please explicitly specify your final submission.
• There is absolutely no measurements coming from us on the completion of a piece. Whether a piece is complete for final submission or not, is entirely your own call. So don't be discouraged if you think you can only afford to doodle a couple lines. Anything is fine.
• Entries must be done completely from scratch by their respective participants. This means no pre-existing stock materials are allowed, regardless of the degree to which they have been altered. Whoever is caught intentionally violating this rule will be subject to the punishment stated in our Forum Rules regarding Credit Theft.
• Entries must be done within the week after the challenge has been issued. No previously done work is allowed. Entries violating this rule may be automatically disqualified without prior notice.

Oooo....another magical-type theme! This should be most interesting....

Getting my entry in earlier this time, and it's final too! In which I completely destroy my protagonist usual quiet and serious demeanor.

I swear to God I knew there were going to be shenanigans but still I died at that one. Thanks sai.

I guess this can't be a real submission due to the copied pose but I felt the urge to draw krillin performing moon tiara magic/destructo disk... ~(‾▿‾~)

I kinda like the look of a chubby sailor moon.

No one says magic girls have to be thin.

Also Sai: I really like the look of that girl. She's cute.

I actually wanted to participate for the last two weeks' art challenges, but Pixiv Fantasia took up all my time.


Of course, thanks to Pixiv Fantasia, I'm not really sure if I can deal with not having to draw fox ears for a while.

Entry^

Kite is a 12yr old magical girl who swoops down from the skies to enforce justice! How does she always know where the criminals are? Word has it she literally gets her intel from little birdies.

Well I will post my draw at monday only and it will be a final submission so for feed your imagination until the final moment ~
