  1. The title says it all. I’m mostly speaking to Jesse directly but can use the communities support and ideas as well. We need animated doors for all your buildings. I have no problems learning to parallax map with your tiles, but animating the doors so the player can interact with them is pretty much impossible for me. I have pulled my hair out trying to make it look nice but have abandoned several projects due to these gorgeous buildings not being able to use them as interactable buildings. Having these beautiful custom buildings is nice in all, but not being able to walk up to the door and open it and enter inside kinda sucks.

If anybody knows any alternative ways that can help, anything is appreciated! :)
  2. I support the idea but I decided to take the route of positioning a door icon near the door, and having the player just click it to enter.
  3. @PsychicToaster It definitely is a good idea. I just feel like animating the doors adds to the immersion of the resources. They kind of have a realistic look to them and that's why I thought about this. In fact I was surprised there wasn't animated doors for all the neat buildings when I first purchased them when they came out. However, I understand that it is a lot of work after I thought about it. I would even pay money though just for its own little mini pack/add-on.
  4. I can whip up some more doors - there are some included already in the Town and Country pack, Interiors pack, and Dungeons pack, but they are only front-facing ones. The main challenge for users will be lining up the doors properly on the map using events on a structure that is best used parallaxed. Not impossible, but the user would just need to make sure they line things up properly.
  5. That sounds good with me! I look forward to it. I hope you can make doors for all the buildings eventually, that would be really useful for developing games with your resources. Thank you very much for even considering this. :)
