Well uh... Hello there! As you're probably aware I'm new to the RPG Maker scene (otherwise I wouldn't be posting here), since I'm posting in this forum and all. I've decided to jump into the hobby of game design after deciding that I well... need a new hobby and don't want to be a slave to MMORPGs anymore.
Anywho, my name is Ashley, I'm twenty-five years old and a mother of one. I'm an avid otaku and somewhat of a cosplayer when I can get costumes within my price range or have the time to make my own. I consider myself to be more or less a friendly person, so feel free to drop me a message if you want to poke me, or just chat casually. :D You're likely to see me in the IRC chat as well.
As I said before, I'm new to RPG Maker, but I've had a lot of fun playing with it over the last few days. I'm currently experimenting with an action battle system script and have ambitions to make a nice little game or two. :)
And that's about it! It's nice to meet you all!
Warning! Challenger Approaching!

Welcome, game making is a great hobby! I truly enjoy watching something written become a thing you can see.
Looking forward to see what you have for the future.
It's a pleasure to meet you as well Cutie Mark Keldeo. -
Thank you! Nice to see some friendly faces!Welcome to the group! ^_^
I would hope so. I have a friend with a degree in graphic design and has been checking RPG Maker out as well. We could end up doing some sort of collaboration, but who knows. In any sense, I'd love to turn some of my ideas into something real. I look forward to many exciting developments. :DWelcome, game making is a great hobby! Keldeo is cute. Do you like pokemon as well?

Well, even though I am 18 I am still in love with pokemon. My favorite is the entire Jigglypuff evolution line. I love me so Wiggly.Dude, Pokemon and ponies are my life! Well... family's pretty important too, but Pokemon has been my guilty pleasure for fifteen years now.

I always under-appreciated the Jigglypuff line until recently. They were cute and all, but i never used them much. Then in X/Y they became fairy types and now they're AWESOME. My favorite Pokemon will always be Umbreon though, but Sylveon's a nice contender. The Eeveelutions are so... fluffy! :3Well, even though I am 18 I am still in love with pokemon. My favorite Eeveelution is Jolteon, not sure why it just looks cool.I always under-appreciated the Jigglypuff line until recently. They were cute and all, but i never used them much. Jolteon is cool looking, even if it's a little less cuddly. Also an amazing Pokemon as far as battle goes. A Jolteon on my team was a staple back in the days of Red and Blue. Gotta love that speed, and that Pin Missile. My favorite Eeveelution is Jolteon, not sure why it just looks cool.

Since Mightyena was introduced it has been one of my favorite pokemon, the others would all be G1: Vulpix, Ninetails, Rapidash, Pikachu, and Eevee(the unevolved form, not an Eeveelution). :p May not be a great battling team, but they are still my faves!

Pleasure to make your online acquaintance!
I'm fairly knowledgeable with the VX ACE program, so if you ever need any help, feel free to reach out to me.
I tend to stalk these forums daily, so you'll catch me here most days! -
Of the Pokemon you mentioned, Ninetales has actually seen some competitive play recently thanks to its hidden ability. That aside, I usually assemble teams of my favorite Pokemon rather than go for something that's going to win me a VGC or on Smogon. xD I suck at EVs and IVs anyway. Mightyena is cool, but I used to think Poochyena were so annoying because they kept popping up on the early routes and making my starter faint. Oh well... looks like we'll be going back to Hoenn this fall.Since Mightyena was introduced it has been one of my favorite pokemon, the others would all be G1: Vulpix, Ninetails, Rapidash, Pikachu, and Eevee(the unevolved form, not an Eeveelution). :p May not be a great battling team, but they are still my faves!
It's nice to meet you as well. I'm sure that i'll take you up on that offer since there's so much stuff I don't understand yet. The basic features are (thankfully) pretty straightforward, but as I delve further into the program I'll sure I'll run into a roadblock or two.Pleasure to make your online acquaintance!

Hidden ability? My newest pokemon game is Pearl so I have no idea what you are talking about.Of the Pokemon you mentioned, Ninetales has actually seen some competitive play recently thanks to its hidden ability.
I never go competitive. Once I have completed the in-game objectives I restart or simply put the game aside. That aside, I usually assemble teams of my favorite Pokemon rather than go for something that's going to win me a VGC or on Smogon. xD -
I know a lot of people in the competitive community, so a lot of their talk rubs off on me. It seems like fun, but it's waaaay too much work to have a strong team.Hidden ability? My newest pokemon game is Pearl so I have no idea what you are talking about.

And hidden abilities were introduced in Black and White 2. Basically it's a special ability that a Pokemon can have but isn't on Pokemon that are normally found in the wild. Most hidden ability Pokemon come from certain events in the game or special distributions. In the case of Ninetales, that ability is Drought. If you can, definitely check out the newer Pokemon games. X and Y were AMAZING. -
Probably be able to get a used copy after 3 or four more generations are out and the price plummets...If you can, definitely check out the newer Pokemon games. X and Y were AMAZING.
