    SYNOPSIS

    You are Briar, the Warlock Consultant! This means you travel to remote potions and magic shops that struggle to make ends meet. In this case to the village Hellebore and its surrounding area, right before Yule fest. The witch June is struggling to keep her little potion shop running, but business is slow and the meager trickle of adventurers travelling through the area to get to the next dungeon are not enough. Can you help her out and turn around her shop before she has to sell her home and move in with her son?

    First you have to find out why June has so many problems and how you can help her.
    Gather herbs, mushrooms, ores and other ingredients to brew potions, clean and renovate June's hut, upgrade her kitchen, talk with the various villagers and adventurer's and get everything ready for Yule fest. But beware around Yule time the barrier between worlds is thinner and all kinds of weird creatures and persons could make an appearance. Learn more about the struggle between old gods and new god.
    This is a cozy game (no combat), focusing on gathering, talking with npc's and a little bit of crafting and decorating. The main part is a bunch of little quest that you can follow along to experience a cozy Yule story.

    • Establish a new potion shop inventory for June to sell
    • Upgrade various things in the kitchen to help you with creating better potions and charms
    • Prepare everything for the big Yule Fest
    Originally this was an entry for the Christmas Game Jam 23 in this forum, but I never managed to get it finished, so hopefully this thread - and you lovely people - give me enough motivation to finish it some day. Since I'm not very well versed in actually making games, expect beautiful maps but clunky gameplay.
    In case anyone is wondering, the inspiration for this was the reality show "Restaurants on the Edge".

    Hiya, just wondering -- I've been looking for a game to show my kiddo and was wondering if you'd consider this kid-friendly. It looks cute and fun!

    Thanks, but the demo doesn't have a lot of content, apart from the game intro.
    Maybe I have more to show end of the month.

    And I think it is kid-friendly, I can't remember putting in crude words or content.
